Question How do you people really understand this game???

I mean this just from an Aussie prespective but, well all your sport seems to be very hard to understand, and yes I watch a lot of American Sport. Just some of it confuses the living daylights out of me.

I read a story from one of the Mum's at my sons Kindergarten the other week ....

This Mum was placed as coach of her little one's Soccer team, as none of the fathers wanted the job of teaching the under 5's, so she takes on the job and takes the kids to their game. Well the kids lost 10 - nil, as they came back over to her they all excitedly asked "Did we win, Did we win", she looked down at their faces and said "did you have fun?" to which they answered "Yes, Yes", she looked at them again and then said "Yes you won then".

I thought that was perfect, they all left feeling good within themselves, which lets face it we need to teach out little ones.

Nicole, I helped coach an under 6 soccer team a few years ago. I had the very same response when the kids would ask if we were winning. That was even my response when we were ahead. I figured they were too young to be so competitive.
