Cali listens to both of his questions and blinks..

"Well..the real reason I want to stay right now, is because the last time I thought of myself over the clearing, it nearly was burnt down." she says, glancing around her once more before returning her gaze to him.

"I've heard the hunters will flatten anything that looks like a living area if they find it, and I don't want that to happen here." she tilts her head and thinks for a second.

"As for my past, it's complicated.." she says "To keep it short, I was taken in by a family, and they left me in charge of their home." as she finishes, one hand lifts from her other and 'displays' the clearing to him. "That's another reason I'm so avid about protecting the place.."

Cali re-folds her arms and winces slightly when a loud crash of thunder sounds from above. She hadn't prepared her sensitive ears for that one.

The wind continues to blow her hair around as she looks up. "I don't want to keep you, if you'd feel safe elsewhere, don't hesitate to go.. I'll be fine here by myself."

"I think I will stay right here. There arn't that many things dragons are warry of but hunters are 1 of them. If need be I will fight to the death alongside you. You seem to be a very wise person and you are a good person to talk to. It has been awhile since I have had a good talk."

I stand straight up as I hear a noise in the woods. I take my tail and smother the fire quickly.

"Be very quite"

I see the shadow running through the woods. I walk over to my new friend and point to were it is.

"I will be back shortly"

I take off into the air as quitly as possible and follow the person for a short while before a drop in. I see the person run right over into a tree becasue he was paying to much attention to me.

I pick him up and throw him on my back. I head back to camp were the women is.

"People are scarred so easily. Look what I found."

OOC: sorry no replies for awhile, where is everyone? Don't be scared to post guys, this can't stay between Griff & Cali (and Athena )


IC: She looks first to the human, and then to Griff with wide eyes.

"What the... put that back!" She says without thinking. Her thoughts finally return as she wonders if he lives in these woods.

"If the hunters come by and see us with a scared human in our hands they'll kill us on the spot!" She says hurriedly, looking down to the human male and wondering if he IS one of the hunters.

She feels a drop of rain on her head and jumps as another crash of thunder sounds over their heads.

Instinctively, she wants to jump up into the tree she stands by and make a quick escape, but for now she keeps herself still, waiting to see if the human can speak, and wondering what this dragon friend of hers will do next.

OOC: Sorry, can you make it clear who Griff captured? I'm guessing it was Daelon, the druid, but it could well be Dorne, who appears human (Though paler and very tall, about 6'5"). Or it could be an NPC. Anyways, I'm confused, so I can't post yet, in case you meant it to be Dorne. Please clear that up and then I'll post.

Athena

She continues to follow her father on soft feet, nearly blinded by the darkness that surrounds them.

As she begins to feel rain drops on her exposed skin, she sends a withering look ahead, only to see what she dreaded, they still hunt.

Athena's back hits another tree as they stop again, by now Kaylel has fallen back with his 2 friends, and she's left to her worries..


"We're going to get ourselves killed" she speaks to herself as they once again begin their trek forward, into the storm.
