So I'm taking the plunge next Saturday and I wanted to take the groomsmen out for breakfast or lunch and do something else before we have to be back and ready around 2 for pictures. I know a lot of people go golfing but 2 of my groomsmen don't really golf and not everyone will even have clubs with them. I was trying to figure out something else to do with everyone that might take up a bit of time and most any guy could enjoy. Also, I'm not trying to spend a ton so the meal will be on me but I'll be asking them to pay their own way for whatever we do. I don't want to make them spend a lot either because I know my future brother-in-law pretty much has no money. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Golf?! Meal?! What ever happened to bachelor parties?! Booze! Coke! Whores! Respect the traditions, man!

So this is after the bachelor party, right? This is right before the wedding pics and you're going golfing? That's a sport, right? Won't you be all sweaty and shit and fuck up your pictures? Before my brother's wedding we just kinda hung around the lodge- he got married in a hunting lodge by these giant windows overlooking the lake; so it was all gorgeous and shit- but they had a bar so we just kinda fucked off there. We don't really organize things. But he got us all custom shotglasses etched with our names so that was pretty cool. Even though he wasn't supposed to drink they served him, I guess because it was his wedding day and all. But yeah, I guess my point is that it doesn't matter what you do, as long as... I don't know. Friendship or brotherhood or something.

thanks

I love this idea but, sadly, no donkey access.

I thought about straight razor shaves actually but it's sadly illegal in NC. Seems kind of dumb but oh well. I actually have a couple connections at D&B. Pool/bowling/games might be perfect.

Trust me... the bachelor party was phenomenal. We did vegas and it must have been a blast because I barely remember it. I'm told I had a good time.

I think of all the ideas, D&B and shooting range sound like about the best/most feasible. Thanks!

Traditionally the groom or groom's family pays for the pre- wedding groomsmen activities and gifts.

That's what I'm told anyhow. I've had it done in Savannah a couple times though. I love it.

barbers should be able to get a work permit. if teachers can carry guns, barbers should be able to give straight shave. good fucking god. leather strop my ass.
