At 11:30pm the phone rang. I knew it wasn't going to be good news.

It was my husband's mum.

My brother in law has been in a car accident, he was a passenger in the car but that is all we know right now.

Please keep him in your prayers...send good vibes etc.

I'm hoping that this will turn out to be an overly dramatic thread, I'm really hoping that. Will update you as soon as we know anything more.

Car accidents are so frightening, I"m so glad he isn't hurt more seriously.

Even if he's okay he might feel like hell tomorrow if he got banged around a bit. I did once upon a time. It's normal.

He's been in the hospital over night and as far as I know he's still there now. He has a history of epilepsy so they obviously wanted to keep a close eye on him for a while. We've had no more middle of the night phone calls though, so I guess all things are well.
