I wasn't going to say anything, but I'm scared at the moment and could use all the help I can get.
I have had a headache for the last 16 days, have felt severe fatigue for a few months and I have elevated ALT levels (a liver enzyme). (Normal is 10-30, mine have been 88-130)
I went to see the doctor on Friday (March 31) who prescribed Floricet (or is it Fioricet?) and told me if the headache isn't gone by Monday morning (which it should be) to call him so he could schedule a CAT scan for Monday.
Guess what? Not only isn't the headache gone, it's worse than it was on Friday.
I'm terrified. I had an aunt drop dead of myocardiopathy at age 30. An uncle who had similar symptoms to mine die within 4 years of their onset. A family history of stroke.
I have battled headaches on a regular basis for the last 18 months. I just haven't had them not respond to medication at all. I develop a migraine 3-4 times a month. No big deal, take the migraine meds and go to sleep. A few hours later they are gone.
As far as the ALT's go, more tests were run and I should have the results today.
This may be nothing, it could be something. Regardless, I'm scared.
My mother is going to drive me to the doctor this morning, I can't drive. My fiance was logically instructed to go to work (by my mother) because we need all the money we can get at the moment, and he might need to be off later, pending the results of the CAT scan, so I'm alone at the moment.
Thank you for listening. I love y'all!
