While My Guitar Gently Weeps

I look at you all see the love there that’s sleeping
While my guitar gently weeps.
I look at the floor and I see it needs sweeping
Still my guitar gently weeps.
I don’t know why nobody told you
How to unfold your love,
I don’t know how someone controlled you
They bought and sold you.
I look at the world and I notice it’s turning
While my guitar gently weeps.
With every mistake we must surely be learning,
Still my guitar gently weeps.
I don’t know how you were diverted
You were perverted too.
I don’t know how you were inverted
No-one altered you.
I look at you see all the love there that’s sleeping,
While my guitar gently weeps.
I then look at you all,
Still my guitar gently weeps.

My favorite scene in "Hard Day's Night" is the one they wrote for George -- the bit where he's mistaken for a "Typical Teen" and asked his opinions by some smarmy media types, scaring the hell out them when he sniffs at all their glossy trend-making schemes.

Hope he makes it.
