Ewww, Ectually, Old Top, his Nannie dropped him at the age of 3 - the symphonic dischord for which the tyke was responsible already, had the "Town" staff rushing around in a tizzy daily!

When Mummy and Father arrived home, pissed as the proverbial newts, the little lad was quoting Engels in the Yiddish. He was so upset that he wasn't taken to Deauville, that when he passed his appropriate "A's" - he rushed up to cambridge and EMBRACED (nudge, nudge) the Philbyists with a PASSION unseen since the days of Annoying Bevan!

OK but you're wrong on only two counts:

Nanny was lovingly called Old Mop on account of the Afro wig she used to sport...

and it was Mater and Pater. Mummy and Father is a cross between unemployed and middle class speak.

But I enjoyed my childhood for all that. The Yiddish I spoke taught me tolerance towards my fellow man and my good pal Kim "Master Spy" Philby taught me intolerance towards all things America.

I told him he was wrong over that so I had no choice but to tell the Queen. At the time she was trying to get Charles a 'Green Card' and every little helped.

Didn't matter in the end though, Kim got caught and we've still got Charles...

A very depressing time for the young Socialist I was at the time...
