We're headed down the road, without a map.
In the bedroom, it seems pretty straightforward, although I may be deceiving myself. It's the rest of the time I'm not so sure about...more nuanced, and more difficult to achieve.
I try to identify those things that I do without conscious involvement that are assertive or aggressive, and then rein myself in, creating space and opportunity. Easier said than done, I'm afraid. We both have a lifetime of cultural conditioning to contend with.
I'm not even sure what I'm looking for, here. Thoughts, I guess, ideas, experiences...
And since this is Lit, after all, any recommended reading will be appreciated.
