And in erotica, "pounding" can go either way in context. It can be a code word for intensity and mutual passion. And, yes, it can be a code word for domination. But even the latter can be a mutual satisfactory situation, depending on the context of the story. I guess some writers don't understand that words, images, and phrases are used as short cuts in writing.

Well, getting back to the writing and away from the humor, I do like using "pounding" and various synonyms to emphasize the intensity of male passion and sexual dominance in my own stories. I'm always trying to get the reader into my protagonists head and visualizing what she's experiencing and feeling and thinking and pounding is just one of a lot of very intensely visual words that you can use to reel your reader in.

Well, I think we just skip that one and discuss the philosophy of pounding, which in my mind anyhow is a bit different from "rough" sex. Rough sex involves rather more overt violence - spanking, choking, slapping, whatever... Rough sex often requires conversations about boundaries. Paddles and handcuffs and a pink dong for me would be rough sex, not "pounding" - and not something that I would generally find appealing or interesting at all.

That's rather different to my mind from "pounding" which for me anyway is simply a guy doing what he does best - getting totally lost in the moment and going for it as hard as he wants to. And that can be hard - and that loss of control is very exciting in and of itself.

There's lines there - one involves violence, the other is simply raw unadulterated passion let loose, or at least, that's the way I see it. Now me, I don't like rough sex at all. Altho a little light spanking ... hmmmmm .... Chloe giggles ..... "Pounding" on the other hand is rather different in it's connotations and I think some people get mixed up between the two.

Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido. I train around 3 times a week and its kind of intense. And I really work out at it - going to grade for my Black Belt in TKD end of this year and i've been training at Hapkido for a couple of years now. All those rolls and break falls are tough work. Tex knows how I met my partner. And the flexibility you work at in TKD is great too.

Chloeing! I just knew it. LOL. My partner is going to be rolling on the floor tonite.

If you research the forum, you'll see that she has a hate crush on me. I mostly ignore her because I highly suspect she's underage.

What is this about people who look at interactions like this and assume it's the two of them causing/doing this? This isn't. It's all about NicoleZ and being butt hurt because she went after someone who gave her a three--and gave understandable reasons for doing so--on her winter holiday contest story and called the poster a nasty name and I had the gall to tell her she was off base for doing so.
