meh. certain words are offensive such as "Puta" but I've grown up around construction workers, cowboys, & military. I could probably curse a whole lot worse than any man I go out with.
And yes cursing is a hard habit to break.

I've actually been trying to reform my potty mouth lately, because I do think it can color the way people perceive you, i.e., trashy.

Nothing makes a person ugly except their attitude. Try a rubber band around the wrist and snapping it every time you curse. it does help.

I admit it. I suffer from sporatic potty mouth. It sometimes just comes out. I am careful around my children. It is more fun to get the other adults in trouble for teaching them bad words. Devious what can I say? But I'm Irish and everyone in my family has been known to create their own colorful naughty words from time to time.

I don't really mind it unless it's really excessive. I mean, I use the three main ones (fuck, shit, ass) in everyday speech, but that's as far as it goes. I can't stand someone who can use most of those in the same sentence....multiple times. I just don't see the point.

It doesn't bother me if others swear, unles it is overused. Then it becomes very unattractive to me.

But I have really curbed my potty talk (except in choice situations) and my boyfriend very rarely uses "colorful" language. It is very refreshing.
But when he uses the word fuck, it is thrilling.
