i'm not sure is this is quite the right place to post this, but i think it might scare some of the vanilla people so i'm posting it here.

i've been single for ages, never been in a BDSM relationship, so i'm only just discovering this side of myself. i've been doing stuff by myself for a while (nipple torture and so on), and today i tried something new. i've been putting ice cubes up my pussy for a while now, and i really like it, but i just tried putting them in my bum. i put quite a few in, since they seemed to be melting quite quickly, and when i let the water out i noticed a few traces of blood. obviously anal bleeding isn't a good thing, and i was wondering exactly how dangerous what i was doing was. there is a chance there may have been some sharp edges on the ice cubes.

Yes, it is unlikely but possible that sharp edges can form when you have multiple cubes close together melting - think about how ice acts in a drink.

Inflicted tears in the ass can be quite serious, and I would fess up to a professional. You can't be sure about the depth of the injury - this isn't like the bleeding from a hard assfuck with a blunt cock, you simply don't know what's up there. The small risk of infection in this site is worth noting because it can go very wrong very quickly.

You're definitely not the only ass explorer out there to try ice, so don't worry that they're judging you. They should be respectful and glad you're asking.

If you choose to go forward, I'd stick to an ice dildo you can keep a grip on, and check the shape of.

thanks for the advice. well the ice cubes were from a machine, so yeah i think they were probably quite sharp to start with.

i'm really quite nervous about seeing someone about this, i think i might wait at least a day or two, and if it's still bleeding then then i'll go. i know they've seen everything before but still, it's really embarrassing.

ice dildo? i assume you could buy an ice mold for it... not so sure about freezing it in the freezer i share with 3 other people though. might be the start of an awkward conversation.

is there anything i can do to prevent infection? obviously plasters are out of the question and antiseptic cream/spray is a bit tricky, and most of the time not for internal use.

I personally would not give it a day or two, I know that's extremely conservative, and not what you want to hear - but the rate at which an infection can take off and spiral out of control in a septic part of your body is a considerable risk. A preventative pop of antibiotics would be worth the embarrassment at this point, IMO.

I agree. (to the OP) this is coming from two people who know how much it sucks to get an infection there.

well i called to book for an appointment, but i chickened. dumb i know, i hung up the second they picked up the phone. i'm just too embarrassed. it was cringe worthy just typing it, i really don't think i could talk about it. luckily i haven't noticed anything wrong yet, if i do i will be gritting my teeth and forcing my self to go to the doctors. if i do is it absoloutley essential that i tell them what i was doing? or will they just be able to tell what the problem is from an examination?

I once had to go to the doctor's for a similarly embarrassing problem (husband bit my breast too hard and an infection developed in the bite wound). I started out the visit by explicitly telling the doctor "This is kind of embarrassing, I need everyone to be professional about this" before I explained the problem. The heads-up helped him to prepare himself and he was great.

Please see a healthcare provider - everyone here wants you to be safe and healthy.

There's no need to tell the Dr. that you shoved ice cubes up your ass. Just tell him or her that you noticed some slight bleeding,

(A little lie suggestion: noticed bleeding when you gave yourself an enema... perhaps?)

that your concerned about possible anal injury, and that you want to make an appointment to have it checked out.
Believe me, Dr.s see all kinds of anal injuries and conditions. So asking for an anal examination, won't make you seem in the least bit strange to them.

BTW, did you know ice machines can be really filthy? You are much better off making your own ice, or ice dildo as suggested. Fill a condom with water, tie, freeze and have at it.

er no i didn't. i thought ice machines were pretty hygenic. perhaps i will try the frozen condom thing when i live alone though. thanks for the suggestion.
