i'm sure this has already been addressed but I can't find anything anywhere. I recently uploaded an amateur pic on here, and i'm not going to lie, was a little disappointed the next day when I got no comments or anything, I tried to find my post and couldn't find it anywhere, yet the previous day it definitely posted. Did I do something wrong? or does it usually take this long for the picture and post to show up? any help would be appreciated.

When I look at the threads you've started, I don't see anything in AmPics. If you started a thread there, perhaps it was deleted by the mods because it violated Lit's image posting rules (you can find them in the stickies in AmPics)? I'd suggest reading the rules (perhaps again) and seeing if your image violated any of them, then posting a new pic that definitely follows the rules.

On the response issue, men simply don't get the responses that women do, unless perhaps they're very well-known posters. The title and content of your thread, plus the images you post are critical in getting responses as well. If you, say, post a thread titled "27/m Showing Off" with maybe a cock pics in it, you're far less likely to get responses than if your thread title, posts and images show some imagination, creativity and encourage people to respond. Some of the most popular threads are topical, rather than member-specific, like those asking if anyone wants to see pics of BBWs, tall men, fun in the shower, women who appreciate other women, etc.

As for images, make them really appealing to the eye, leave something to the imagination, avoid cock shots, etc. Women in particular tend to appreciate beautiful images that have some mystery and evoke emotion (face/head shots, a guy in jeans that fit well, really well-done nudes, more artistic and erotic images over pornographic ones). Most don't want to see the junk of some random guy - the junk is only cool when we love the person it belongs to.
