...you drop in your line, and wait for a bite. Then try to coax the "little fishy" into you net.

Or you wait for a reply and hope someone argrees.

sounds about right actually :)

another good way is to post a thread called "bush sucks", then watch em come running :p

I may have to try this technique.

Sensua, it's wonderful to see you here.

And you're right, posting threads at Lit is a lot like fishing.

Thank you...I've been wandering a bit.

Do I know you in another setting?

Trolling is another fishing term...but I am sure that it has it's owning meaning here.

I'm sure you don't remember me, i was a newbie when you were last posting here regularly.

It has been a long time. I've been register for two years now, but have not spent a dedicated amount of time here. There are skeletons....walking on this board...that keep me away.

*chuckles*... why'm I remembering an OLD Sesame Street clip with Bert and Ernie when they are fishing.

Bert: "Heeeeeere fishy fishy FISHY!"

Interesting concept. I have to agree to a point...it is like fishing...you never know exactly what you will encounter though. You start out with one thing in mind and somehow it can get twisted around, and next thing you know...the little fishy has become the great white shark, or perhaps the octopus. heh heh Beware all fisherpersons...

I think she's posted her last here. Too many worms.

Sometimes certain ones don't even need a net...they just show up and the fish ar jumping into the boat.:)

I thought the name of this thread was... "Posting at Lit is like FisTing..."

I think I need sleep.

Honey, you need a net. It doesn't cost much and don't take near as long. You see that fish and "swoosh" he is yours. ;)

Sensua and I are married.
