I've noticed that quite often we have one thread started each time someone wants to bring to our notice a particular news headline. Quite often these just disappear into the ether, with little or no comment.

This may, or may not be a good idea, but I thought it might work better to simply have a News Headlines Thread, where we can post links to specific items. If the item arouses much interest, a very easy matter to start a new thread.

I'll kick it off with this one...........

Face Transplant

Fascinating, if a little creepy. How would you explain the change of face to very small children? And how about aged relatives/parents ? How would they cope??

And then there'd be a rash of good looking celerities found mugged, and missing their faces.

I would think that it would be easier for small children to cope with a changed face rather than the remnants of what the dog attack left. I would think that the same thing would also apply to aged relatives/parents. If I were her young male realtive/SO, I would cope by seing that the owner of the dog(s) had a chance to experience the same thing. [Yes, as a matter of fact, I did receive the dreaded "Does not play well with others" stigma in kindergarten.]

If she does you could regift to me, MAN I want ONE!

Seriously I would use something like that every freaking day.

Right now the toast making procedure is toast the toast, using a breadknife whittle off pieced of the rock hard butter onto the toast as evenly as possible, microwave for 10 seconds then add cinnamon and sugar.

If I had spreadable toast I could remove the 10 seconds of the toddler screaming and pointing because the toast is taking too long.
