Post something good!!

Congrats!

Shallow goodies...

I just had fill-in extensions done, on the dime of a perfect gent of a client. (ahhh those who tip) Now I have that ragdolly not-too-goth girl art damaged hair I wanted, and I don't have to fret and never wash again, either, thank God.

I am attending my first cheerleading competition tomorrow as a coach. I have tried to mold these girls into the best they can be. I tell them that all of this hard work will pay off when we win this thing!

Oh I love Sunday morning when you wake up when you both want and then your Master gives you one of the most delicious pain sessions for a long while before your feet even touch the floor.:)

Seeing Master getting His appetite back after almost 3 months of illness - it was like He was making up for lost time :)

Other "appetites" are making a comeback too - happy happy joy joy :D

OK, I am through with bursting with this news!! We are buying a house.....have negotiated the deal, signed the contract, and are finalising the mortgage....well actually working on getting the best deal, but already have some great offers which we will decide on finally next week. Will be fun as we have to basically renovate the house throughout as it is ex rental and in need of everything, including floor covering and light fixtures. Has 3 floors and we are planning on having the top one just for us...bedroom and large dungeon/playroom.:D Location is beautiful....parkland and 3 canals at the front door practically, walk or cycle through parkland along the canal bank to shopping (my son is impressed with the huge electronics store:rolleyes: ), transport, multicultural neighbourhood, not far from Amsterdam...yah!!...and close to our friends and family here. So here is a pic of what is across the street from the front door.

..and another where the 3 canals meet....I think I will spend a lot of time wandering...great for our exercise regime!! LOL, of course the Masterful One has indulged me by buying a house with canals near the front door as he knows how much I love water and being near it. Not something which would have been possible for me in Oz. :)

Wonderful news and what a beautiful view!!!

Buying a house is so exciting. Enjoy.... :rose:

Thanks crimsonlace and KC.....lol, I an sure some of the excitement will be checked when we are plastering, painting and laying floors but the end result will be well worth it. Figure the canals will provide great stress relief.....:) now if only we had a small boat to float around them on..maybe later.

Hey that actually works really well, especially if you provide beer!

*better mask off the do not paint areas carefully though*

LOL, there are no 'do not paint or plaster' areas except outside....then we need a new fence and to build a BBQ and paved area with a small rose garden....we should be well in shape by the time we finish, and then going up and down 3 floors all day will hopefully keep us there.

The cool thing is the city is made completely from the sea....seems the North Sea cannot stop the Dutch if they want to set up residence.:)

Mmmm, well one of the problems we may have is getting furniture into the house and to the 2nd and 3rd floors......the house we are in now required taking beds in through the second floor window.....our house does not have windows quite as big, and is fairly high. And damn, we don't have any of those metal hooks hanging off the front of the house like many in Amsterdam do specifically to handle this problem.

That's a pain

Do you at least have the proper steel hangers INSIDE?

LOL, will have in time...the top floor we are going to have to ourselves has ceilings way high enough to experiment with suspension and then some. Silly real estate woman suggested we might like to put a false ceiling in and use it for extra storage.....sheeesh, no imagination!!

The Netherlands, a few canals, a boat and lots of beer. Such good memories. :)

Congratulations Catalina and Francisco.
