Let me get a little personal here: right after orgasm, I'm so sensitive I can't bear to have my unit touched for a minutes so. He's just too sensitive, and touch is painful.

All of the women I've been with had the same kind of reaction after orgasm, or at least after climaxing from oral sex. For a minute or two they're just too sensitive to be touched. If the orgasm occurs from coitus, this sensitivity doesn't seem to be as pronounced. But I've been with at least woman who couldn't stand to even have her body touched immediately after orgasm.

Of course, this never happens in porn, but we all know how true to life porn is.

Is this general amongst all women?

I, too, am very sensitive at that point. A tongue can be agony for a few moments, but it's worth it!

Can I comment first about you men. I think your pretty typical dr, although I’ve found most men just love a warm, wet mouth right after intercourse. That doesn’t seem to be to painful. One man I spent time with could during intercourse have an orgasm and still keep going. There was for me a period of time I’d loss some feeling, I suppose the lack of friction do to his sperm, combined with him partly losing his erection. I truly did like this, it was a skill many men need, as to many seem to be over to soon. What was strange is when I gave him an orgasm any other way, he was atypical, very sensitive.

As for myself, being to sensitive from an orgasm produced from coitus I have never been so. Most of the time unless I’ve had orgasms before coitus, I never have one during. As for strength of a coitus orgasms, they’ve never compared to those I have during clitoris stimulation, oral, finger or toys.

At one point in my life the experience of being touched after a clitoral orgasm would have been, yes I felt it was painfully sensitive. I have learned, or more accurately been taught, to get past that feeling. To be truly multiply orgasmic it is a necessity to learn to continue past that point of hypersensitivity.

Learning that changed the way I feel about sex, from it’s nice to it’s a truly amazing experience. Perhaps that has also made me a selfish lover, as I expect sex to be always that way. Not a problem in my current situation, she knows what I need, I know what she needs. It has been in the past a problem with some men I’ve dated, I may add not dated for long.

I realize many women may think it’s impossible for them to get past that feeling, that is just not so. I wrote an article on how to go about over coming that feeling, thus allowing yourself many more orgasms, for some friends from a chat room, a number of them were happy I did. I have been toying with the idea of revising that article, removing some personal reference, then posting it here at Lit in the How To section. I’m not sure it’s worth the effort, so few seem to read how to articles.

I wrote it mainly for women, but I also realize most women make love to men so I tried to include you men also. Maybe if I did post it here some of the male writers would wake up. I’m so sick of stories where it’s either her month wrapped around "my dick", or "my dick" in her cunt. Not that most women don’t like both but having sex is so much more then that, and most of us women need and want more. In my case, yes. My clit is very sensitive, so when my hubby licks me or when I'm playing all by my lonesome, I can only have one orgasm. If my clit is touched after an orgasm, I almost jump right out of bed.

its kind of funny actually, I am extremly sensitive just after an orgasm but not exactly painful.

Having just arrived at this thread, I'll respond to the very first post without having read any others first.

I only have orgasms through clitoral stimulation (sounds like that should be a thread in itself). I have one huge orgasm most like men do (though no one knows whether it feels the same as the one they have.) I've have several smaller ones afterward on rare occasions, but for the most part, I can't stand having it touched again after that. I guess the recovery time is similar for most.
