The USA has two massive economic/social problems:

1 The levels of National debt are unsustainable and it is government policy to make them worse through further tax reductions.

2 25% + of the population is living in poverty with more of the middle class slipping into that category every day.

The US needs a substantial tax increase because all the DOGE solutions will prove to be inadequate. Neither party has either the competence or the leadership to resolve these issues. Harris/Biden were captives of Corporate interests for the sake of election funding and Trump will support any entity which supports his financial interests, the rest is performative distractions. The circus will continue for at least 4 more years.
