hi everyone.

i am trying to add a reply into a forum, and in order to do so, i would like to copy the picture from the original posting into my reply. when i try to do that by clicking "quote" i get the link to the pic but not the pic itself. so... how do i copy a picture from one posting into my reply?

If the image in the quote wrapped with website url here, it will show up when you press submit reply.

You're doing it correctly. click Preview Post to make sure you've quoted the IMG tags as well as the URL.

Pictures in posts are hotlinked (even attachments require hotlinking here at Lit to show in a post) which means there is not picture when you quote a post, only the vBulletin tags and url required to hotlink the image.

Harold, thank you. Unfortunately I need to have your reply translated into English, but if i understand you correctly, I won't be able to see the pic in my preview, but it will show up when i actually post it to the forum. Not the HTML tag, but the IMG tags with a URL address, the picture will show up in your post and the preview. As you can see below.

i understand you correctly, I won't be able to see the pic in my preview, but it will show up when i actually post it to the forum.

You won't see the actual image in the Editor (where you quote and/or compose posts).

At the bottom of the editor are two buttons; "Submit Reply" and "Preview Post." When you click either of those buttons, you should see the image -- provided you have the vBulletin IMG tags correct and the image's host allows hot-linking to a porn site

The difference is that if you preview, you still have to scroll down and click "Submit Reply" to actually post your message.
