Possible to search a single thread??

I'm wondering if it's possible to search a single thread for
posts by a certain id?? Searching on an ID can produce threads
hundreds of pages long so there must be an easier way than
flippin' through each page and using the browser search
function, i hope?

I'm sure I'm all that certain about what you're asking...but it is possible to search a particular forum for words of phrases under the search option. When you're there, just chose which forum you'd like to search under ie. How to, or BDSM or whatever. That'll take you to the posts within that particular forum that contain whatever you're searching for.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. What I'm trying to do is search a long
thread without having to page through it a page at a time. Also
even searching a forum doesn't seem to work as expected. As
example, I had this forum up, I'm looking at my ID starting this
thread, but when I search the forum for my ID, I get no hits!!

I must be missing something obvious(which often happens to
me. I'm better with subtleties.)

Just seems like there's no easy way to search a thread that I
can find.

Ideally I'd like to select a thread, plug in a user id and after clicking
the button, be presented with each page that contains a post by
that person.
