While back, I read a story. (was not written in English)
Plot was very simple:
Guy buys stack of playing cards from hungry indian, siting in the hot sun.
Cards are beautiful - there are semi-naked women on the card jackets.
Those woman come alive each night for him to have a sex with every night.
They all different - some young (and one virginal). Some reluctant and some aggressive.
Most imaginable acts they do - except sex is one on one.
Conditions of life for main hero slowly deteriorate and when he hit rock bottom he narrates this story to two other guys. In spite obvious danger one of them begs to buy cards and leaves the story.
Other sees hero later and witness his salvation by woman with whom he slept before he got cards.
Story long and my memory not perfect.
If anybody seriously interested in writing I could put down more.
Or that could be very famous story alredy written and translated from English - you never know.

Well, see you

I think that the problem with this is that it *is* a story already, whether in english or another language. I for one would not feel comfortable stealing someone's idea without their permission. I'm sorry.

I'd second that.

Reply: it is a resurection!

I read it 15 years ago, and there are a lot of stories with less plot and content. If I could I would have contacted author, but he forgot to sign his name.

So I view writing in that frame as resurection of the storyline, not a stealing, and again, nobody forces you to steal.

(Does it salve you mind that story was in Russian?)

it doesn't matter what language it was in...it still feels too weird

In the words of the great Mistress Hecate (I hope I'm quoting her right!), "Sex can only be written in so many ways". Meaning, it is easily to have similar, if not same, plot lines and sex scenes in several different stories. How many times can we write sex?!?! ;)

I think it would be okay to say, "I like this idea or concept this one writer used, could someone maybe take their hand at it and give it a try?" No matter how similar an idea or concept is, our stories will always be different. (...if we are writing our own stories and not plagiarizing!)

So, if you like the idea of the sexy, sluttly, nude, centerfold women on a deck of cards coming to life to make a man's fantasies come true, I don't see anything wrong with this request. Hopefully someone else will agree and write it for you.

Good luck.

It was kindda a gift, may be not comp[letely mine to give...

Thanks for the supportive reply, but I do not really NEED a story.
:p

I do remember most of it - it was one of the first stories I read and the one I liked most.

So, basicly, I could just type as much as I remember...

I was kindda trying to give a gft of pretty good storyline.

So that going to be my last post here.

(Not a threat, just a statement of fact).

See you.
