Positive Vibrations

serijules: I just love chatting with you...I feel like you always get what I'm saying.

I love chatting with you too!

and I wanna get Netz in bed too damnit, LOL.

graceanne is really nice and amazes me with her willingness to listen to me, though she will disagree adamantly and there IS truth to what I said in her sig line.

Etoile can get me in bed any time, and not only because she's the resident f/f sexpert, but I lust her mind.

I also lust serijules' mind, and find myself agreeing with her highly intelligent posts with absurd frequency.

chris9 gets my cool fairly recent addition award, I find myself going out of my way to read her posts.

Marquis is a terrific partner in discourse, a good ear and a good egg, and hangs a lot in the open, and is never ever boring when he writes. I've laughed my ass off and I've actually cried reading different posts of his.

catalina, in addition to lots of great things, gets me wet when she talks politics and makes me proud to consider myself part of what's left of the Left. :) If I flee to the Netherlands, perhaps I will have to take you up on your interest in a hard beating. Will Dom for resident status!

AA actually keeps me civil in political threads, because I can't write off everyone I disagree with as an uninformed eedjit when he's in the house...no way. I also enjoy deciphering his acronyms and watching him tease or dismantle with that rapier wit.

Killi always has a good thing to say to everyone, comes up with great party games and icebreakers, and stikes me as a genuinely kind, fun, extroverted perv.

bb is a good friend and tells it like it is, and defies the simple categorizations.

I enjoy reading BlueSugar and Ammre's posts for the same reason, they are very multidimensional in the things they bring up.

RR is a hell of a witty guy, knows how to pick restaurants, and is not as scary as you all think....yet probably is, if that makes any sense. He also gets to call me "kiddo."

evesdream is just incredibly cool and turns a phrase beautifully.

In my sleep-dep state, I went to bed w/o saying...

TaintedB - Oh gawd. One of my favorite people on this forum. She goes where no one else will dare, and she's absolutely ruthless when going after a point. Her posts are frequently thought-provoking and thorough. I count myself lucky to get to see the softer side of TB and have her as a friend... She's an all-around excellent lady.

chris - Recently impressed me in the "Sir Quam's Alt" thread, and no not *just* because she agrees with my opinion... lol. Actually, she's one of my favorite "newbies." Haven't had enough time to really get to know her, but I'm looking forward to it.

Etoile - Totally pervalicious, and very knowladgable. She has (imo) a softer voice in her posts than most, and I love that. I'm thankful that she chooses to share her experiences with us!

-Time to run to the airport, but I will continue my list when I get back. :)

You both made me blush
Glad you like what I'm saying, I do slowly start to feel sort of at home on the board. :cathappy:

I'm not even going to attempt to say anything to anybody personal, there are just to many people here great in all different ways.

I want to say that I do feel this board is overall very friendly and welcoming. There are many wise people around, or at least people that post wise things, that made me think many a times. There is also lots of fun to be had with you people and I find myself sitting laughing loudly in front of my PC.

Even when we disagree, I'm always struck with how you make me leave the thread feeling like I learned something or was exposed to a viewpoint I hadn't considered and never feeling negative or hurt or defensive or any such things. I highly admire that ability in a person, and you have it tenfold.

Canadian Cutie - strong beliefs, and the ability to stand up for what she believes in.

Edited to add: In the disagreement we had, I should not have attacked you as a person, even if I disagreed with you. Sorry.

S'ok. Bits of positivity to you too :)

Thankies, multidimensional, I like that alot :) :rose:

Rosco Rathbone, Mayor of Topopolis, is officially the Godfather of the BDSM board. I've learned, and continue to learn a lot from this man. He is by far one of the most entertaining posters to read, and if you look closely enough there is real genius behind even his silliest gags. That being said, he's a tough nut to crack and anything personal he reveals is generally just the tip of the iceberg.

BridgeBurner doesn't post nearly as much as she should, but I suppose that's very fitting of her style. She is laid back and easy going, but twice as perceptive and insightful as most people with four times her post count. She waits until the right moment to say anything, but when she does, she always has my attention.

Netzach kinda reminds me of someone that could be in my family, and is always great for friendly conversation or serious debate. She doesn't pull punches, but doesn't lack in tact either. She's a great resource for all things BDSM related, or other matters of high academia.

Catalina_Francisco are a superb couple, and awesome individuals as well. I am a moderator by their invitation, and they stuck up for me once in a big way when they didn't have to at all. Francisco doesn't say much, but I get the feeling he is a Dom in a very man's man way, which I admire. Catalina is both very submissive and very progressive in her views, which I also admire.

Kajira Callista is the sweetest, most lovable, awesomely kinky thing I've ever come across. I can tell you that if age was not a factor, she would be my top choice for a sub from this board, hand's down. I think I've mentioned this before, but I have a magazine with pictures of women covered in skin tight latex, and I consider it the perfect metaphor for the submissive; so exposed yet so hidden. I think KC fits this model perfectly. She is very friendly, even to the point of seeming little girlish, but look just a bit closer and you will see something deeply mysterious about her.

TaintedB. What to say about TaintedB. TaintedB is a five star pervert and it is remarkably exciting to meet a female with such a genuine love for sleazy pornography. She is also extremely knowledgable, and incredibly wise. The few converstions we've had where she has opened her mind up to me, I have learned A LOT. She is pretty guarded however, and I sometimes feel really scrutinized talking to her, but I do look forward to getting to know her better through the years and earning her trust.

Dolf is hot. But other than being hot, she has a brain, which makes her incredibly sexy. She's not ashamed of who she is, which I like even more, and she is a 50% brilliant 50% lunatic combination that I feel very at home with. She has pride and dignity, and doesn't care what other people think. She has s submissive spirit that is blindingly beautiful if you can ever get a glimpse of it.

Etoile is really smart AND really attractive, but a little bit of a gossiper. All in all a fine human being though.

Betticus is a bit of a psycho, but my opinion of him improves daily. I've tried to pick fights with him on a few ocassions and he's always been the gentleman, in fact, turning the other cheek and being friendly enough to make me look like a fool. Not that that's a hard thing to do, but it's given me a chance to see him more for who he is, and he's a pretty cool guy. We're about as different as they come, but that doesn't mean I can't learn from him.

CanadianCutie ims me about four times a day to say "Hey, do anything cool today!" In some ways I think of her as my first true Lit groupie, so she will always have a special place in my heart for that reason. Other than that, I think she is doing some exciting stuff and going through more than most people would imagine. I see good things in her future, and she's way more hot than she lets on.

Pure doesn't post too much anymore, but he has a style that I just love. I don't always have the time or energy to argue with him, but if I'm in the mood, there is no finer sparring partner. He also brings up some really interesting things sometimes, and thinks far, far outside the box.

Sphynx and her Dragon are welcome additions to the Lit community. It's always good to hear from young new people exploring romance THEIR way. I almost hate to point this out, but Teal Sphynx is only 20 years old! She's incredibly mature for her age, and I think that really shows in her posts. It's odd that I got a very different feeling when meeting them than the image I had of them online. I suspect they have a devious side, but we all do.

Aeroil is one of my favorite people on this board. Half the time I think he has head in the clouds, but seeing as he is all of 14 or something like that, I suppose it's to be expected. In any case, I think he is a great addition to this board and to the culture it represents, and I hope he sticks around.

Xelebes is incredibly smart, but very withdrawn. I enjoy reading his posts, but I really have no clue who he is. His posts are always very vivid though, and he has a knack for communication. When he is ready to speak more, I'll be listening.

AngelicAssassin is an interesting character. Obviously very smart, and won't let you forget it. The 2/3 of what he writes that I understand I find hilarious or insightful, the other 1/3 usually just pisses me off. He seems pretty hip for a guy his age though, and I bet he was a cool guy when he was my age. Probably why he cockblocks me so hard now.

Sir Quam was annoying at first, but I spoke to him on the phone recently and he has agreed to be my mentor. I will need to let him use my sub ocassionally, but it is a small price to pay for such fine instruction.

Last, but far from least. Killishandra. What to say, what to say. It's hard to think of you as "Killishandra", when I knew you by name before I showed you Lit, and once thought of you as my own property. I now have 3 girlfriends or exes that read my posts here, and I must admit that it's gotten more than a little uncomfortable. Lit used to be my place where I could come and say whatever the fuck I wanted, and not have to worry about hurting anyone's feelings. Obviously, it can't be that for me anymore, but if you can come here and be good natured, positive and cheerful after what we went through together, than I can certainly at least try (in my own way at least).

As a poster, I love your bubbly nature, your friendly disposition, your razor sharp wit and your awesome sense of humor. I look forward to seeing you get involved with more serious topics and seeing your perspective broaden as you gain experience. You are one of the finest human beings I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, and it makes me very proud to call you my friend.

There's somebody I forgot, probably because she only comes over here rarely, but who should not be overlooked.

Never rules.

Positivity to you Etoile, for being pretty and a nice girl :)

Yup. and she writes great PMs.

Snowy-Thankyou for your heartfelt apology. I tried not to get flaming over your comment, it seemed out of place to your usual posts.

I have a difficult time remembering everyone here on Lit's names and what conversations we've had. Though I feel that the people here on the BDSM boards are all a wonderful group of people (with the exception of the occassional trolls). I think the reason we don't have trolls the way the GB does is that we all enjoy conversing with one another and do not find their antics (uhm....sp?) enjoyable. Everyone here tries their best to keep this a wonderfully open place to discuss a lifestyle that alot of society doesn't feel is acceptable.

Catalina- awsome thread topic, I like positive energy :)

Killi- is alot of fun, really a bouncy bubbley bersonality, and the AV's like someone previously mentioned...meooooooww

Canadian Cutie- Sweet individual

Aeroil-<Spank> :rose: just a cool kinda guy

Xelebes- speaking in riddles confuses me, but he's still a great read

Etoile- Sweet, cool, calm character, helpful in my explorations through BDSM

Angelic Assassin- The first person that I ever talked to on the BDSM boards, your help was greatly appreciated.

Netzach- Neat individual, I enjoy reading her posts. Again, another knowledgable individual that has helped me in my explorations into BDSM

Actually, I think had it not been for the people here on Lit showing me that BDSM isn't everything the media makes it to be I would never have accepted it the way I do now. I probably would have left my b/f at the time (now my sub and husband), running for the hills, because he was just on of those "freaks" the media talks about. Everyone here has made my transition into accepting the BDSM side of myself just that much easier because I could talk to people about my concerns and fears and be met with understanding instead of laughed at or put down by my new interests.

Okay.... I'm going to forget lots of people, so say something nice about yourself, and pretend I said it, if I leave you out.

aeroil: You're a freak. But you're by RPG-playing freak buddy. And that's okay with me.

Marquis: You remind me so much of my brother it's insane. It's nice having you on the board for that, and for helping me out with some stuff outside the board.

sinn0cent: Thanks for being a great example of how someone can be in a 1on1, D/s relationship. If I end up married to a woman and have a good of a relationship with her as you appear to have with your master, then I'll be in great shape.

Killi: You're cute. That's a great thing. Plus, I'm not sure I've ever heard you say anything negative, which is also cool.

ShadowsDream: You are the avatar of the midevil "Lady" in my mind. I can't put my finger on exactly how or why, but it's just awesome, you carry yourself in such a way that demands respect.

DVS: You've managed to keep a good attitiude throughout having no sub, that's cool, it shows strength of character.

xelebes: For making the IRC channel, you're cool, even though nobody ever goes there.

CanCutie: For being almost as loud and obnoxious as me, I have to give you kudos.

TaintedB: Thanks for the oral photos, and for posting things that made me think in some of my threads.

gracie and shyslave: Thanks for keeping me from feeling like a freak combining BDSM+Christianity.

Gallant Man: You posted that bitchin' list of what love is in my thread, that I still have saved in a text file on my harddrive:

serijules: For being in #submission on irc.bdsm-net.com. That makes you cool :)

*edit*
I FORGOT THE MOTHER DUCKER!

SincerelyHelene: You're awesome, because you're cute, full of ducky goodness, and... you intrique me.

.

I enjoy chatting with you there Jason, we rarely agree on things ,but we just have a very different idea of what we want in our lives in a D/s manner. I always enjoy having a convo with you regardless because you put a lot of thought and effort into it, which always makes for a great convo regardless of the topic.

That goes for aeroil-with-a-small-a too! ;)

*ahem*
nevermind.......

Good lord... I'm going to have to leave some people out of this post, but will likely come back and add more. I don't want to use up all the server space on one post. ;)

AA - you make me laugh, and make me think. The amount of research you do, and the clear, concise writing, along with the consistency of your viewpoints, forces me to admire you. Along with that, you have exactly the twisted sort of humor that tickles my funnybone.

Betticus - you're a madman, but still, a sometimes thoughtful one whose posts I occasionally read and later, think, "Hey!" and have to go back and re-read. An interesting fellow, for sure. We're going to see your name in the headlines one day. That could be good... and then again, it might not.

canadiancutie - you're a little strange, but youth is allowed a little latitude. At least you're literate and pretty consistent with your viewpoints, and very seldom rude. ;) (Rudeness is reserved for PYLs, yanno.)

DVS - you seem to be a lot like me. I think we'd get along very well in real life. The subs would be in deep doo-doo, though.

Gracie - probably the sweetest person here. Given your circumstances, I could never even approach the equanimity and poise you display. "Grace" is an integral part of your persona, as it is a part of your name.

KC - not much I can say about you, girl. Betticus about said it all. If I could go back 23 years, knowing what I know now, both our lives would have been very, very different.

Marquis - we had some minor differences, way back when, and ironed them out like adults. I like that about you - you're always willing to listen to and consider what others have to say, and you have no fear about admitting that you may not have thought something all the way through - as well as no fear about putting yourself "out there" and showing that you were right to begin with. You're a mensch, and I look forward to your becoming all that you can be. When you're on the Supreme Court, I have some cases I want you to look at.

Netzach - I think if I had gone pyl, you would have been exactly what I would have been looking for... and fearing finding, too.

RR - what can anyone say about you? You're sort of the grey sheep of the clan - not a black sheep, but close enough to the edges that you make everyone shudder a little now and then. I like that.

ShadowsDream - you make me a little nervous sometimes... it's like seeing myself in a gender-reversing mirror... except maybe a little more so.

WD - one of those whose back posts I actually looked up and read (and ofttimes re-read) when I first came here. Literate, knowledgeable, and frequently one of the drily funniest people here. I've learned from you, and laughed my ass off more than once at your posts.

Okay - that's it for this post. If I skipped you this time, you'll probably be in the next one. It wasn't because you aren't important, just that I'm getting tired of typing. :p
