Mostly for people with low self-esteem(women) or personality problems(men). Cool for drug addicts/sex addicts. You won't make much money unless you're extraordinarily photogenic like a Jenna Jameson or Aria Giovanni. Disproportionate number of tragic suicides. If you perform in clubs you can make cash daily, but there is really nothing for men.

I do wonder how they recruit for porn videos? I remember some years back there was series that was based around women responding to an ad to be on a sexy, online calendar from which she was then seduced into having sex. Of course it was all a setup, just like the casting couch videos but it makes me wonder how do they actually find people interested in making porn? I guess there must be some online forums for it but have never actually seen any.
