I've been quite amazed at the volume of downloads, votes, comments and feedback emails I received after I posted a mother-son story here, and I was equally shocked at the enthusiasm there was for this particular topic.

Wit and reality

Thank you, Georgie, for another beautifully written story.

What charmed me the most was the wonderfully honesty of the relationship between mother and son, and the dry with that permeated both their exchanges and the story itself.

A masterclass in relaxed writing that still manages to bring an intensity to the situation that was at times breath-taking. This story can only increase the popular demand!
