Popcorn!

I am going to show my age on this one.

But the Jiffy pop in the pan. I love that stuff. Hard to find it but worth the effort.

If you're showing your age, so am I, Missingmeds. I have fond memories of watching the foil BULGE as the Jiffy Pop was being made...when I was but a wee owlet.

I remember when Jiffy Pop in the foil pan was the only quick fix for the popcorn munchies. While I loved shaking the pan, the darn stuff always seemed to burn on me.

I loved it when those air popper machines came out, no oil needed. Now we seem to have mostly microwave stuff on the market.

Carrie, the butter & parmesan sounds yummy, as does your husband's butter & Lawrey's. Mmmm...

My only beef with the movie theatre popcorn is trying to get enough butter on it. Even when you ask for extra, they never layer it (popcorn... butter... popcorn...butter... etc.) It always seems to have butter on the top, and nothing from about three inches downward. Blech!
