pop ups

Hello,
I need help. (in more ways then one but thats another story lol) My computer is over run by pop ups i can't go to a single site with out getting 5 or 10 pop ups and some wont let me get rid of them. I have already used stop zilla for the 15 day limit. If you know of any free blockers that i could use that would be great

You might want to start with an Ad/Spyware program like Ad Aware to get rid of cookies on your computer. Try http://www.lavasoft.com
Then you can get a popup blocker. I am not sure where to find those, but I find AdAware very helpful for getting rid of parasites.

You may also want to try the scanner on the Literotica home page, as it can be helpful in helping you remove parasites that cause popups.

re: popups

first, i highly recommend using norton's "internet security" software. aside from virus protection, it also has blockers for adware and popups.

that aside, there are popup blockers available from MSN and google. both are in a toolbar format and just add themselves to your browser (assuming you're using IE). as mentioned before, the netscape and mozilla browsers have popup blockers built in.
