Pop-up windows

Gawd, I'm am so annoyed. A friend sent me a link to a cute personality test entitled "What kind of dog are you".

So I go there, and in the interm of several web pages to finish the simple test, there must have been about 7 pop up windows in the background.

How annoying.

Yes I know there are programs I could download to prevent those damn windows, but if the host insists on being so annoying, I prefer to avoid them altogether.

I don't get what they think they are accomplishing. "I want to annoy you, so you will buy this product to get rid of me?"

Whatever.

Have you ever had the pop ups coming so fast the only thing you could do is shut off the computer?? That is gettting too extreme.

been there done that, wanted to put my fist through the monitor, hey put the address for the test in the thread please, will just deal with the pop-ups

Ther is a way to stop pop ups.
Get a program calle dpop up stopper. Kill pops ups dead and only allows them when you are holding certain keys.

I thought it was ctrl w that made them stop......only if you catch them early.............
