" An iPhone-owner whose daughter downloaded $200 (£125) worth of "Zombie Toxin" and "Gems" through in-app purchases on his iPhone has been allowed to pursue a class action suit against Apple for compensation of up to $5m (£3.1m)."
Kind of funny. See, I'd say that yes, the parents need to keep an eye on their kids with stuff like this. I don't use iTunes to purchase stuff and I don't have an iPad or iPod, so I don't know how easy or not it is to purchase things while you're "in progress" in a game or something. But I'd say of course these are "bait" games to get you to buy stuff. Facebook does the same thing.
But seeking millions in a suit is kind of outrageous. I'm guessing they're starting with such a high amount b/c they know they won't get that much.
