Pool (Water) Sex

I've thought about trying pool (water) sex with my wife,
but for health purposes (for her - i guess) i have not yet
approached her about it.. We own our pool - noone else
uses it, and it's in great shape... Is there still any health
considerations? I seem to remember "hearing" (or reading)
about it being bad for the female partner because of waters
in-ability to compress as air does while having sex.

Any information y'all want to share? I'd love to do it

Well, I've not had sex in a pool (and can't figure out why not!), but I have in a hot tub, so I suppose that qualifies? I survived all encounters intact and perfectly healthy. If I get your drift, water does not compress like air does, but it does not stay in one place. Also, when a penis enters a vagina we are not talking waterproof and airproof here. There is still enough space between body parts for the water to find an outlet.

The only caution I would put to this is if your wife is in the advanced stages of pregnancy, has recently had a baby, or has recently miscarried. Then she should check with her doctor. However, if she is healthy there should be no problems. Relax and enjoy!

The only thing that I can think of that would enhance the experience, would be to use a silicone-based lube. Having sex in the water tends to wash away all of your natural lubricant. It can make it dry (weird as you are in the water), and the friction can be uncomfortable.

Actually according to Sue Johanson (Canadian sex expert) she says sexual intercourse under water is not healthy for the woman. Sorry I can't remember the exact reason why but it's got something to do with water getting into the vagina while the man is thrusting. But I digress...... Yes Sex in a pool, stream,hot tub, or....the ocean is simply wonderfuk! And...as mentioned, a silicon based lube is a great help as well.

Done it in a Hot Tub...it didn't work out so well, we adjourned quickly to a nearby bedroom.

I wouldn't recommend it, the water diluted her natural lube, and at the time I was young and un-educated in other forms of lube, and it felt like I was pushing it in against some sandpaper. Eh.

I've always found it to be a great place to start but my lady friends usually end up drying out a bit.
