Why does it seem those with whom we cannot easily live without seem most capable of living without us?

Because they don't know me that well yet?

Hope springs eternal. And so does ego. This is what I tell myself.

Why is it nothing in this life ever stays the same except that which we wish to change?

Why does the cat keep sticking her butt over the edge of the shelf, when she KNOWS she's going to fall off?

Its an illusion in the worst possible philosphical conundrum ways. What gives You (one) the idea that the proverbial "they" cant live without you (one), either? :)

:)

I think it's all about perspective, M.

Sometimes we do feel the way you describe, and then a few days or weeks or months go by, and we start to wonder why in the world we ever felt that way. Either that or another special someone comes along who intensifies and deepens the feeling you describe so thoroughly, we wonder how we could have felt so shallow about the first one.

Perspective. It doesn't mean the first one didn't mean a great deal, it just means we've been exposed to something that is beyond our former expectations.

Is ok, since when does anything I do have to have an actual point? :D

Of all the childish and adolescent things one is expected to outgrow, why aren't nose pimples on the list?

I don't know the answer, but this is why I usually choose to kill such people. Thus proving to them that they really couldn't live without me. HA!

Um...not that I've killed all that many of them...or buried them under the house or anything like that....

Because misery likes company... and it hates the rude bastards who have something better to do.

If most people are scared of spiders, does that mean that most spiders are scared of us?

We having bigger feet, they have reason to be -- except for those hand sized furry ones that built webs across my front walk and then sit on them and SHAKE at me.

This whole mutual fear things makes me suspicious.

You have hand sized spiders? Cool.

One who isn't perfect can't comprehend perfection, One who's never felt this love can never write a poem about it, One who's never touched Goddess, really doesn't know what Goddess is. One must experience these things, these infinite things, in order to have any hope of grasping what it is they truly are… what it is you truly are.

I really need to do something about my propensity for procrastination. I think I'll start first thing in the morning.
