poll: prostitution

i've een a bunch of polls on here, but none that address this. please give reasons for your opinions. let'sreally hash it out and get into fights.

Prostitution should be legalized. Every town / city should have an area where one can go and partake in whatever perversion they desire<except children> without fear of being arrested. The sex trade workers in these areas would be regularly checked for communicable diseases. I believe this is done in Nevada.

I think it should be legal. As long as regular medical checks are done and protection is used, why not? (But how ever would our government make money from it? How can sex be taxed if it's not done in a Brothel? )
