poll: googling your handle

you know, i was cutting & pasting a post here into another forum i frequent and it occurred to me that my handle might be more common than i might otherwise like. so i googled it and was surprised to see that my submissions page was the second hit.

so i thought this might make for an interesting poll: how many hits until you show up? i'm not adding poll options, b/c there's too many possible answers.

One at 126 at the next one at 229 also the measure thread.

That's hilarious, because this was the first hit of mine that came up!

I had to go through almost seven pages to find a reference to my Lit handle, and only after I did an advanced search--English only.

Saw lots of references to Elian Gonzalez--apparently someone transposed the letters of his first name.

I've done mine before but I just did it again so as to report verifiable results (this is a scientific poll, right?). Of the twelve hits that came up today, ten are direct links to posts or my profile here. And that damn measurement thread showed up as one of the first few hits.

People who use the google ads often bid on misspelled words such as this because they occur less frequently and thus are much less expensive. However, people misspell things all the time when googling so bidding on a misspelling can be a very lucrative venture.
