obviously, as writers posting on AH, you write erotica and/or p40n. but what else do you write? i'll go first.

i tend to write mainstream fiction and fantasy (swords & sorcery stuff) primarily. i don't have the mentality for horror.

I write a baseball column and my poetry covers multiple genres

I write comedy. And music/lyrics. I write poetry when my lyrics become too free form to sing. LOL.

I have written romance for over ten years. Unfortunately, the stories have become rather mechanical and have to be written to a strict formula. I started writing mysteries about a year ago, and have enjoyed the change of pace. The two stories I have posted here are a combination of mystery and erotica.

I hope you get a chance to read them.

I do a bit of poetry, though that is usually inspired by my faith :)

I write reviews on all kinds of things for 2 online opinon sites, so reviews on books, films, food...allsorts!

I write romance, or I have a couple of times, my nano novel was a romance :)

I've done a plain fiction piece too...but that leaned into the fantasy/supernatural kinda realm, and so far it's been a one off!

Mostly I write erotica :)

jill: you could make that easier by adding a link to your stories page in your profile. :>

Poetry, travel articles, business plans and strategies, and lots and lots of powerpoint slides.

I have written occasional articles on rugby for online websites, but my main writing atm is darkfic short stories. These are in the Roald Dahl 'Tales of the Unexpected' mould. My novel and my planned novels don't really subscribe to any one genre - they're drama/romance/chicklit with tinges of other influences.

Silverwhisper,

There are links to my stories in my signature. I think they work.

Philosophical essays. Occasional forays into SF, horror and thrillers.

Oh yes, and Letters to The Editor in newspapers and magazines.

Music
Comedy
Storylines for local pro wrestling federation
Commercials
Voice overs for various audio & video projects

Primarily Erotic Horror. All the novels I've written are in this sub-genre, even when I set out for them to be pure horror, or something else. One of them has heavy shades of Sci-Fi in it, too.

And, in complete comparison, I've started writing a children's novel. This is going to be a fantasy book, and my two girls have given me loads of input and are even doing some illustrations for it. :)

I write mostly horror and poetry, when I'm not writing erotica.

Oh, and the occasional term paper.

Letters, flyers, articles. All my fic is here or elsewhere on the web.

I'm a technical writer. I write all that boring shit like policy and procedure, user manuals, software guides, online helps, grants, and the odd newsletter or yearly report.

On the flip side, I've written two historical romance novels. I write fiction to unwind, and historical romance happens to be a fave.

Last year, I visited Fenway Park for the first time, and was inspired to write a story revolving around the Red Sox and the Cubs, playing in Game 7 of the World Series. Frankly, I thought it was a great story...then the Red Sox had the audicity to go and actually win the World Series. All the romance of the story was gone.

If I ever publish a book of non-erotic stories, I'll probably throw it in as filler.

I've also written for a couple of alternative weekly newspapers, as well as been contracted to write for an indie record label.

I write perl scripts.

Okay... I try to write perl scripts.

Sincerely,
ElSol

I write "romantica" (much to my horror when I discovered it's a real genre and has such a disgusting name,) and fantasy erotica. As well as smut.

I call it poetry. ha. and horror suspense. the weirder and wilder, the better.

At the moment I write a blog, marketing material- press releases, film reviews, poems and contribute to an online newsletter.
