What do the powers that be do to politicians who aren't corrupt enough to be bought out by private industry and corporate special interest?

What happens to elected officials when they refuse to follow the draconian orders of the giant banks and faceless multinational corporations whom are literally running the entire world?

In the extremely dangerous and mafia-like world or high-powered politics, three different things can happen to elected officials who aren't corrupt enough to be bought out, controlled, or manipulated.

Our government and governments internationally are broken beyond repair, the system is so corrupt at this point, the world has been thrown into an endless freefall to a global economic apocalypse and possibly world war three.

Humanity is a failed civilization.

1. A completely contrived scandal which forcibly removes them from office (Bill Clinton and Elliot Spitzer are two good examples)
2. Contrived legal charges
3. Physical assassination/murder
