In 1996 Mike Connelly wrote a wonderful book titled THE POET, in 2009 he wrote its sequel and titled it THE SCARECROW. I'm told he replaced the sequel with an official sequel for the original. I bought THE SCARECROW and condemn it as PC infested. For some reason Connelly lost his mind and made a piece of shit, then got right with God again with a new and improved sequel.

For those who don't know, I'm the finished product of Fritz Perls' Gestalt Psychotherapy. Perls said you and me exist in a world of bull shit. Youre real, I'm real, but the rest is bullshit. The idea is ground zero for my epistemology (how I sort things out). Perls was God in the 60s, and hated now, because he's the kiss of death for political correctness. The Rehab/Psychology grad school I graduated enforced its creed of IT IS WHAT IT IS, LIVE WITH IT. But that was long ago. I imagine the new creed is, POOR BABY, YOURE A VICTIM. My indoctrination is in my writing batter.

Readers hate political correctness and Perls realism.

I am aware I keep TXRAT on IGGY because interacting with him is like poking my eye with a stick.

My story My Sister Set Me Up on a Blind Date features positive consent quite a bit. Some comments:
Feminism is the least arousing thing ever
I was excited at the title, but then I started reading. I don't care how hot the girl is, feminist propaganda deserves no place here.
Mixed feelings
:
The first is I believe that you wrote Todd to be an apologist for the masculine gender. The second is I am firmly opposed to positive consent. It might have been a construct to further your plot. I vascilated between giving you four and five stars but, as a man, I chose to give you four because the story was outstanding even if it was tainted by the aforementioned issues.
Not even halfway through page two and
your characters are prattling on about "patriarchal" small towns and related bullshit, delusional social theories only taken seriously by brainless "Gender Studies" majors and other lackwitted imbeciles who wouldn't recognize *true* "social justice" if it danced naked in front of them and gave them a (well-deserved) slap in the face. I took the mentions of the ridiculous concept that is "positive consent" (aka "affirmative consent") with a massive grain of salt, because I was interested in the story, but...Stars and Stones this guy is an absolute imbecile! She's not having trouble getting a date with a decent guy because of "the patriarchy" or sexism, she's having trouble getting a date with a decent guy because her definition of "decent" is Will Smith, basically! ...On second thought, no, I'm sure it's actually the patriarchy, not the fact that there's a limited supply of potential "Will Smith"-s in a (as described) *small* town. Yep, I'm sure that's it. Darn that evil sexism! /sarcasm ...Jesus!

Do not pass "Go," do not collect $200, etc. I'll finish the story, but at this point, if this stupidity consumes much more of the plot and dialogue, I cannot imagine this work deserving more than one or two stars, in my estimation.
The story has a 4.82 rating.

I don't adhere to political correctness because in real life many people don't.

People are racist and sexist and homophobic and and anti this that and the other thing.

So anti PC is called realism.

And when it comes to creating an asshole character, what better way to demonstrate them being an asshole then have them spewing racial slurs and things of that nature.

If it offends people then they shouldn't be reading fiction.
