Pokemon

They’d be a terror weapon. A captured Pokémon in its ball can be shrunk a lot, but can still recover its ~2" diameter size & release its captive. Feed someone the small sized ball & call out the critter - leading to a messy, messy death.

Now, on the other hand, Pokémon are both skilled and trainable. As such, a perverted trainer could find interesting (mis)uses for the critter’s abilities. Pikachu electrostim? Hell, squirtle’s name alone! To say nothing about the ghost, magic, and/or psychic types…

They didn’t explore the dark side of things too much in pokemon. I feel like if they went a little gritty with it that it wouldnt be a hard stretch.

Totally agree, a more adult Pokemon story that is more gritty would play well I think, there is certainly lots of scope to explore darker elements.

Just think of some of the things Gym Leaders could make beaten challengers do after the battle is over for example!

In the Pokemon cartoons Pokeballs only work on wild Pokemon, if it is owned by someone already the ball will just bounce off harmlessly, and it's the same with people. I seem to remember Ash getting hit in the face with them several times when a Pokeball has been hit back at him by something he's trying to catch.

I am misremembering that catching wild pokemon included requirement to knock it out (until it's eyes are crosses)?

That pretty much excludes catching an active human either, even with a (modified) ball capable of such. The ball would likely need to be used on at least somehow dazzled, but probably fully unconscious human. It's also pretty clear one should be safe from one's own ball at any case.

I believe owned pokemon is bound to a ball and thus no other ball would work on it. And if you trade a pokemon you trade ball, or am I not right?

Has there ever been situation where a pokemon is decoupled from its ball permanently? Like released back in wilderness... although even that wouldn't necessarily require full decoupling. Some pet pokemons have been far more often outside than in the ball (like that one pikachu, for example). Have a pokeball ever been destroyed while the occupant is summoned?

That said, the rules are what you make them in stories, so liberties can, and should, be taken in my opinion. A simple work around could be to say it's a defective ball or modifications were made to it etc.

Sure. The ball would likely need to be modified. Since a human caught in a pokeball becomes property of the owner of the ball, obviously, and other possible effects, like aforementioned technically enforced nudity and the likely effective reduction to an animal status, because of such summarily enslavement and that such is likely illegal, there's conceivably are some restrictions against just that happening by too easy an accident inbuilt.

Depending on how those devices are made, it would be needed to either override the exclusion of humans as applicable creatures, or explicitly add humans as eligible pokemon type, or both. The override could happen somewhat accidentally in theory, the addition not so easy.

Would pokegirl evolve? Into what?

What sort of perspective would you all like to see a Pokemon story? Guy traveling and fucking a lot of girls, or a girl traveling and being a slut?

Personally I'd like to read girl travelling around if I'm honest... but I'd enjoy guy on the road just as much!

I'm just looking forwards to a great story! 😃

Okay lets take this from the top friends. First you are in fanfic/celeb and that's not really up for debate though the rules here have a lot of flexibility. Like the consent rule for noncon is basically whatever Laurel and Manu say it is on any given day and a lot of it has to do with your talent as an author. They won't shut down 'Saw' but might shut down Friday the 13th. Its a matter of if you can weave the story well or not. Test the waters my friend.

Using the main characters which has already been ruled out is sketch territory because again the rules as written don't always make sense. Ash/Red has been in at least a few of the later games as a clear adult. Misty is in Gold/Silver as an adult. Jesse and James aren't even in the games and in the show there isn't a lot of reasons to think they aren't legal. Which might be legal in Japan, much of Europe, more than a few states in the US. But Lit has a fairly good habit of pretending not to notice age as long as you don't break certain very specific rules. Like Bart Simpson is forever 11 or whatever age he is despite the show doing so many future episodes that. . .we don't talk about that.

Regardless the consent rules wouldn't apply to pokemon as they are not real. You can't write a rape story about Beyonce or Britney Spears. Sasha Fierce is probably inbounds (I might test that) and Supergirl is definitely just us arguing if she's 18. Like Ben 10 and Kim Possible it buggers belief they aren't 18 in cannon but have fun.

Assuming we are counting the anime as cannon yes Ash has set more than a few pokemon free. We can start with his Butterfree decades ago but he routinely lets the last generation free just so he can pick up new starters. The show is to no small extent a half hour commercial for the games. I'm not hating on it any more than I'm hating on Power Rangers. But the rangers mysteriously lose their zords and/ore powers right around October every year so parents need to buy the new Megazord or whatever they are called. Christ I'm old. But yes you can get rid of a pokemon if you wish and in game you can just set them loose. The rules are fast and loose.

No good reason why a human can't be captured but we don't ask questions in anime. Jesse beware. You too May. How old are you crap I'm old.

lol you are fueling my indecisiveness.
I’m sorry if I’m a naughty influence…

But I did mean both. "Team Rock-Hard, blasting off again!" High energy hijinks hoisting heinies and holes hard, licentiously licking lovers lathering lewd lengths longing for lusty lancing, poke balls popping open & closed in paroxysms of bawdy orgasmic climaxes…

I disagree on the point of category. Especially since some other pokemon stories were posted in sci fi. I dont an OC so its not a fanfic. Its a sci fi/fantasy setting.

ITs in an established setting. Any story in Gotham City is fanfic regardless of Batman.

If you call it something else - pocket monsters in capture balls used by the Owners, perhaps - you get a step further from fanfic. Yes, yes, Pokémon derives from ‘pocket monster’, I know - just tweak it a bit. Those who know that genre will catch on & follow, the rest will have to be taught the genre’s standards

I guess Im just not convinced I have to go that far since i can see plainly pokemon stories already in sci fi

The site admins can override an author’s choice of category, and over time the use of those overrides has changed. What once was acceptable for one category might now be moved into another by the admins. I’m not up on the current take on such, just have seen it happen - for all I know, Sean Renault’s post may or may not reflect the current situation. I was trying to point out one fairly low impact way to put your content into some favorable light w/r/t Sean’s post

Yup! Totally get that. I guess i can always test the waters 🤷‍♀️

That's actually a pretty solid idea. I've read parts of the manga but not much. As a general rule however Japan doesn't give a fuck about certain things. They are very used to nudity and near nudity and while sometimes they are more skittish about violence than we are a lot of times they aren't.

Pokemon the anime looks like a wonderful world where mostly people have fun collecting animals and forming lifelong friendships. The manga is a world where your child might grab a balloon and get wisked off to the afterlife. (No seriously, read the Drifloom Pokedex entry.)

Anyone here ever read the manga? They straight up killed Pokemon in that. So they're not afraid of The Dark Stuff, they just don't fuck their Pokemon, lol.

Anyway, you could make a new villain team, I think someone was hinting at this above. There is a new team every generation so just make a catchy name for a new team that is focused on capturing / stealing / engineering pokemon for the sole purpose of nefarious sexual exploits. Main original character can be a protag trying to stop these people, or can actually be one of these ne'er do wells... and getting into those hijinks.

I mean. It can get pretty ridiculous. Especially if you write in the POV of a villain, or rather the 40,000th henchman of a villain, because you get to write them failing, getting thwarted, etc. ... and in this case, with devious consequences!

Also maybe they're trying to capture some legendary for their boss, for sexy reasons. Sexy evil reasons.
That is honestly a great idea. I do think the biggest challenge I have is driving a compelling narrative for the pokeMon story. So your suggestion is great.

I think beyond what Golden suggested there are two plot points I am playing with, id love to hear thoughts as to which one resonates more:

First option:
-Girl protag travels around the pokemon world with a strange pension for attracting pokemon sexually. Some researcher (or perhaps herself) is astonished at this fact as relations between pokemon and humans is super rare. They take advantage of this to study the mating habits of pokemon the world over. Only issue with this is that id also like there to be human on human action so there would be a conflict of theme? So i couldnt just stick it in the non-human category, it would have to be sci fi.

Second option
-boy protag (i could throw a girl protag in here to as a partner or something). A virus has stricken the world that has sterilized 99% of the male population. The world government has put a program in place to identify which males still are fertile and give them “breeding licenses” to do what it takes to breed as many women as possible. It would be the plan to flesh out the pokeMon world in a more sci fi way. Basically humanity’s technology is so vast that there is no more wars and most people don’t have to work outside what fulfills them. 18 year olds get to adventure through the pokeMon world freely but the virus threatens to destroy the human race. Only issue here is I have a similar-ish story in a fantasy setting called Tales of the Void Breeder. Though the stories have slightly different directions and the settings are very different.

Third Option
-i could combine the two? Perhaps the boy is a designated breeder but the girl’s proclivity for fucking pokemon allows a professor to research mating habits of pokeMon in hopes to cure the human race?

Thoughts?

You can human-human sex in nonhuman. The category doesn't mean that you can only have that type of sex in it.
