Ah... Poke'mon... I could talk for hours on this... Muahahhaha!!! My nine year old second cousin is addicted! He is so enthusiastic about it that he has me watching the darn cartoon every weekend just to keep up with him... I have to admit that I find Jigglypuff sexually atractive... Heheh! That pout! Just can't resist that pout! Heheh! And what a voice!

Gha! I am losing it! Okay, getting a hold on myself... (Heheh!)

But Daryl, thats my second cousin. He got pissed at me for ending a gran turismo game where he had nearly 300 more horse power than me... They grow up so fast... Heheh! I didn't have a chance in hell even if he messed up every corner... He just launched past me... I was like... "Bye, Daryl..." Heheh! Its so sweet that he didn't know he had the race in the bag, no matter how bad he messed up in the race... Heheh! That kid is gold... His dad is the reason that I am able to get online to begin with... 133 pentium or not... I'm online damn it!!! Hahahah!

I'm glad YOU enjoy them Ravenloft..

I watch upwards of 8 kids per day... ALL the time, am I getting "He stole my Pikachoo card!!!"... "Auntie Lanna? Can we go get more Cards?" "HEY! *I* wanted that card!!". Every 5 minutes, there is a screaming child... all over those dumb cards. The show itself will give me 30 minutes of breathing time until the next round of screaming and fighting....

So... in the unspoken, but thought of often, words of Parents everywhere who know what it's like: "If Pokemon died... i'd throw a kegger."

I guess thats the charm of being distant family... Not being subjected to the tourcher of it every weekend... Unwillingly that is...

OMG...my daughter was obsessed with the friggin' crap at the beginning of the school year. I am everyday grateful that she grew out of it. I don't know what triggered that, but I'm happy we are back to Barbie dolls.

Alas, I have no children. I have no wife. (seen it been there done that, paid her $500,000 and away she went)I shall never know the joys of kids arguing over stuff like that, and then sending them in their rooms.

Q: You know what Pokemon means in Japanese?

A: Those fucking Americans will buy anything.

I'm almost ashamed to admit it but I watch Pokemon from time to time, and I can't use kids as an excuse. I just think that Pickchu is the most adorable thing and I don't care what anyone says I like Psyduck. He's so funny because he's always popping up when they don't want him, and Jigglyouff thinks he's a star but he's such a cute pink thingy, but is it me or does Jigglypuff look a little like Kirby. Hmmm, looks like copyright infringement to me.

Jigglypuff IS Kirby's illegitimate child...

Both belong to Nintendo so I don't think there is gonna be any legal action... Unless they are gonna sue themselves...

Actually Kip, it means Pocket Monsters... But you knew that, right? Heheh!

Pokemon!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrr.
Burn'em all.
I hate those small friggin', butt annoying things.
Was sitting next to a kid this morning who had the pokemon tune on her walkman and a pokemon figure to play with.
The tune alone made me go all Walter (see RP section)
But when she started to play with that stupid little plastic thing, putting it on my shoulder and on everybody elses within range, I felt like screaming.

Ever had that feeling. That this one thing can really piss you off for no other reason that IT exist??

Get over it Xander...it's only a little kid having fun!!! Just remember how annoying you were at that age, maybe you will come to understand that children are just plain annoying...pokemon or no pokemon

(Ummmmmmm...kidding here...somewhat anyways, cuz I do have my own kid, so I know they aren't ALWAYS annoying...I don't want ya'll to think I'm a bad mommy or anything)

Sammy, I got nothing against kids. I in fact love them.
BUT, it really bakes my noodle, when some one allows their kids, to play ON other people, crawl on other people and generally let them piss people off.
I really can't blame the kids for that. But I can be a little pissed at the parents for just sitting and go, OOOooooo isen't he/she so sweet/cute.
All while the subject for the kids playtime, is really making an effort not to loose control.
That's all.

I'll make sure to sic mine on you when you come for a visit....LOL

That's different.
I do a mean horsey back riding.
My back will hurt for ages. But for you, anything.

Hey Xander are you gonna put the same rules on her that Sammy put on me when she said she would do anything?? That is anything but...????

Oh and Sammy I'm still thinking, I gave jason one Idea, He said that I was cold and cruel and shouldn't even suggest it cause you wouldn't or couldnn't handle it. No it isn't house work, but it does have somthing to do with a thread you started.

OMG! Pokemon...Ahem. When I went back home for Christmas, ALL of my siblings under 10 (six of them), were absolutely in love with Pokemon...guess who got to take them to the Pokemon movie! Grrrr...I love parents sometimes.

Bossy

Absolutely N.S. LOL
I would do anything. But I.....WILL ALSO do that.
biggrin.gif

Damn it N.S. what does "that person" know about what I can and can not handle? a thread i started...hmmm...you are gonna do your impression of psychic sammy??? give me a tattoo? I'm sure you will tell me in time. Of course, I know you wouldn't be too mean to me....

Oooh! POKEMON! I just love pokemon - I've been collecting the cards since the very beginning and I've seen every episode ever! I've got so many cards that I could build an enormous house of cards and put all my pokemons in the house and then they would be safe unless of course bad pokemon came and used his special power of wind and blew the house down and then the pokemons would be lying under a great heap of cards and I'd have to rearrange all the cards and it would take me hours but I'd love every minute of it because pokemons are soooo coool and I don't know where I'd be without them and the wonderful music that they bring to my ears when i listen to my walkman. Mummy and Daddy don't like pokemon so I guess they are kind of evil in a way but that's a bit scary almost as scary as this weird scandinavian who screamed at me because hotchla pokemon wanted to rid his jacket of evil fleas with her special power of ,.. er wind and EVERYTHING!!!.....

Poke e mon , poke e mon, that is all my two kids talk about. From the cartoons to all the toys and of course the wonderful trading cards. Yuk they are obsessed and its driving me and my hubby crazy. This things are really getting out of hand. My oldest who is 10 wanted us to buy a trading card for $40.00 and I thought he was nuts told him not a chance. Theese toys are just getting way out of control in fact they have band them from the schools because it was getting so bad . In my opinion it was a good idea that is all the kids wanted to do.
Oh well just my thought on the subject.

skitten

So I take it that the majority of us dislike the phenomenon... Skitten: I agree that its insane to pay 40 dollars and up for a single card! But think of it this way, you buy a 3 dollar pack and there it is! That 40 dollar card! Woohoo! Heheh! But that, of course isn;t realistic... Would have to buy like three or four boxes for that to happen... Oh well. But what amazes me is that these freaken cards can come right out of the wrappers with that much! It takes sports cards several years to become worth something! So, I think that on average per pack of these cards your supposed to get like one rare, two or three uncommons and the rest are commons right? (Asking any other card flopper out there.) rares start at about three to five dollars I think... Uncommons are a dollar usually, and the commons are almost always under a dollar, so if luck is with you you are practicly doubling your money if you turn right around and selling those cards for book price to whatever poor shmuck that will actually buy... Of course I am talking out of my ass, who is gonna imediatly turn around and sell the dame cards the moment he buys them? Heheh!

I have watched the show on ocassion and I love Pickachu(I think I've mentioned that already) but they keep talking about some kid named Gary. Who the hell is Gary? Someone please enlighten me.

No Sammy, I wont ask you to get a tatoo or do anything that might hurt you, just somthing to have fun with. The Idea that I have and discused it w/Ravenloft, is somthing that he has said is very cold and cruel but wont hurt you at all just frustrate you.
