Hi I'm new to this board and I am not sure if I am posting this in the right section, so please forgive me if I am doing wrong.

I have been coming to this site for many months now and I enjoy all the stories and pics. I keep coming back because of the quality of these items.

I love the poetry that is on this site and keep a regular eye out on the top lists. I just read a poem that is currently number one and I was wondering if the person that wrote it, Havocman, comes on this board. The poem is called "The Taste of Us" and I was hoping that he could tell me the inspiration behind this poem.

I don't know if any of you have read this but here is a link if you are interested, http://www.literotica.com/storyxs/poetry/ttou_o_624_g0.shtml I hope that you all enjoy it as much as I have.

If anyone knows how to get in contact with Havocman I would love to write and tell him my thoughts on his work.

Yes Havocman comes to the board.

Try to get into contact with him by finding one of his posts and hitting the mail icon at the bottom of it. OR try going back to the poem and hitting his name, it will take you to his mail address straight away.

I hope this helps you out.

I love his poetry too :)

Wow!

I hadn't read that poem until now...

"Wow" is the first word that comes to mine..

As LL would say (where IS that little girl?) "color me impressed!"

Speaking Inspirationally......

SunshineGirl: Yes I do hang out around this board from time to time *wink* and let me say thanks for bringing my newest poem to everyone's attention. I'm really glad that you liked it, and (shameless plug coming here) if you read some of my other offerings you will see that a few of the others also have an "oral" theme.

As to "inspiration" for that particular poem, well I thought the inspiration would be obvious...LOL...no seriously though, that poem came about from an online, er um "discussion", yeah that's what it was a "discussion" *grin* that I was involved in with someone. I believe I may have used the title phrase during the course of the conversation, to which the person I was talking with said, "That would be a great title for a poem." And I thought they were right, so I set about describing just what the "Taste of Us" would be like...

Sorry if that's not the epiphany you were hoping for, but that's how a lot of my writing happens; I come up with a phrase or a title I think sounds good, and then I write around it. But I will say that once I have that phrase or title, I pour myself into the writing, in an attempt to make the rest of the piece as attractive to me as the title or inspirational phrase was. Sometimes that is a labor unto itself...and I freely admit that I don't just write my thoughts out in single draft...My writing lives and dies by the word "revision" *smile*

If you'd like to contact me further, just click on the little envelope at the bottom of this post, or you can send email to me at:

And thanks again for the kind words :)

Nicole: Girl, I really must make you my PR representative...that is if *Eve* can spare some of your talent to help me out *wink*

Seriously kiddo, you have been one of the most outspoken advocates for my poetry, and I don't know as I've ever taken the time to thank you publicly for that....so let me remedy that situation immediately:

ThankYouThankYouThankYou!!!

Now then, what exactly is your fee for representation? *wiggling eyebrows suggestively*

Jade: What do you mean you'd never read that one before??? *stunned expression* You wound me deeply madam...LOL...just kidding. Actually I'm glad you were able to find it, always makes me smile when someone new takes time to mention that they like my work...a really big smile.

But you know what? You're also right in wondering where the hell LL is. Even though I've never really interacted with her here on the BB, or elsewhere for that matter, I always look forward to reading her comments...and she does seem to have been MIA lately, hasn't she?

Color you impressed??? Personally I like the deep, dark green of Jade, but if that's what you want hon, Hell, I'll color you however you want to be colored. Your crayons or mine? *wicked grin and wink*

Havoc

I too am a fan of the man, the myth, the magic that is Havocman. (though my personal favorite is "Oral Exercises") I hope, though, that you aren't limiting yourself to the top ten list--there is a lot of great stuff that never seems to get there, and (perhaps because poetry is so much simpler to post) new stuff goes up all the time.

SHAMELESS PLUS WARNING: You knew it had to be coming! There's even some of my poetry now available. (Let me know what you think, everyone!)

Seriously, though, I have read through the whole poetry catalogue, and there are some really talented people working their magic for us! Thanks to you all.
