Does anyone know a good site that defines the style or type?

I haven't checked this out entirely, but this thread may be of some help -

Indy_dark,

I have several references I use. The main ones are books. First, a Rhyming Dictionary that discusses many poetic forma and definitions in detail.

THe others are two books that are just good reading:

The Discovery of Poetry by Frances Mayes

The Making of a Poem by Mark Strand and Eavan Boland.

The last one's been helpful in defining specific terms....a good glossary.
