Not in the themed contests (April Fool is running now). It has to be a story. But there are contests for poems. Ask in the Poets Hangout.

If you want it to be an entry it has to be at least 750 words long (the minimum length for a story).

Even if it is accepted, the readers might well be cruel to you because they might think you were breaking the rules. You might get away with blank verse.

I tried submitting a poem to a Nude Day contest and it was rejected for being a poem.
