I just got a PM from someone, and it was such a touching sentiment that I wanted to share it with the whole board. I won't reveal the sender's name, because that would be unethical. So all of you eager ladies who will be begging me for his name so you can have some of him too, just forget it.

I wonder if it's because my av breasts are so, umm, out there, that he thought he should tell me intimate things about his body too? Sort of as a burnt offering to the boob goddesses? Maybe I need to switch avs for a while. I've been really pleased with how few creepy PMs I've gotten so far. I think I'll switch to a more stern version of myself.

I won't turn off my PMs, though. Too many wonderful people are here to shut them out wholesale.

I nearly always reply to PMs with a polite acknowledgement, and if I don't want to keep talking with a person, I am generally upfront about it. Usually though, I'm so pleased to get correspondence that I write very nice letters back.

Zamdrist, Did you mean that the way I handled the message lacked class, or were you commenting on the message itself? I'm a little confused by your wording, and prone to guilt.

I have received a few PMs like this, too. I'm assuming that it is because I sometimes use pics of women as avs. My favorite was the one who said he could tell that I was a "hot little girl" who needed a "daddy" to take care of her.

I know we did, and it WAS pleasant. That's why I was confused. I got all worried for a second that my insensitivity might lead him to do terrible things to numb the pain of public rejection, though. My slippery-slope mind made me think I should have been more sensitive.

Now that you've clarified, I don't feel the guilt. It was but a momentary pang.
