I do not think it is fair to demand people stop an activity simply because you passively take offense. I don't think anything was undertaken to actively exclude anyone(with minor comical exceptions). I cannot claim knowledge of all posts regarding the recent "list" threads but I do not remember any negative comments regarding you. Takeing offense at disclusion is akin to "What you didnt say hurt me, shame on you."

It's nothing personal. Really. Honest.

I don't make lists. This used to bug me. It doesn't anymore. I'm not really sure how I got from point A to point B, but I've come to realize it really isn't a slight.

I haven't posted any lists lately, but I like you, PacificBlue. I'm not sure how I'd categorize that liking, but if your name doesn't make a list, that doesn't mean I like you any less.

See, I kind of like the popularity contest even if I don't usually have a part in it. It's so easy in this world to focus on what we hate, who we dislike, what's bugging us lately. It's a breath of fresh air to see positive interaction, even if it's not my back being patted. I guess I don't feel like I'm any less 'cool' because I don't come to mind as the sexiest, wittiest, or even bitchiest poster.

After all, I know I am. I don't need anyone else to back me up.

I'm glad you posted this, though. I remember feeling like this, and it wasn't fun. You can sit with me on the Listless Couch if you like. An exclusive club.

lists are silly i agree ... and in truth i think people only make the list if they posted recently when someone wrote their list


so if people dont make lists just assume its because you didnt post around that time hope that makes sense
