Well that is rather up to whoever writes it, I couldn't do it. An incest story to me is undoable, I'd be thinking about my own family and most likely end up to busy puking or trying not to depending on how far into it I got before the faces came to me.

Even if I was using a guy I am lusting after like the one I live with or Vin Deisel as the lover in an incest story eventually actual members of my family would enter my brain and render me a quivering mass of disgust.

Not to say my family is all disgusting inbred freaks or anything like that, I just know them to well and that thought so won't appear in my head.

It is kind of a funny fantasy. Many people growing up have near incestual experiences that are mainly about learning your gender identity and the uniqueness of your body as a girl or boy.

I have heard in all of my psychology classes the reasons for our attachment to family members and our usage of them as a template for who we look for in our mates. I have luxury of not having any children so I can get away with writing about the incestous experience without worrying about it.

I wonder if that will change if I ever decide to have them.

As a story idea, what about an erotic fiction writer trying to write an incest story at a publishers request with the promise of a huge forward. What if a family member finds out (son, daughter, sister, brother) finds out and is aroused by the story they are writing, despite their revulsion to it. They foolishly act on it expecting a reaction. When it is not what they thought they force it out.

Honestly I think most actual incest falls into that type of scenario, can't be all that often a family member is the epitome of what another lusts after. Of course I'm talking recently, cars rather negate the can't get near any other males or females easily/at all problem.

Suppose I am wrong though, I don't know anybody that went to a family member stripped down and said fuck me hard.

Though heck while we are on the subject, why not a story about that dad that was impregnating his daughters for a pure breed. Apparently he had been up to it for an extended period, news report said 7 kids from his kids.

Granted have to make them older when he starts, but I suppose would make for an interesting story.

I know that there were several islands, I think in the Pacific Ocean, that had colonies of German immigrants since WWII who were trying to raise a purebred race. They recently came under the authority of another country (might be the Philippines) and the men were being prosecuted for molesting children, incest, etc.

Actually, I think a fun topic of discussion is just exactly what would count as incest? Sex with a sibling or parent? Hell yeah that's incest. With a cousin? Pretty much. Second cousin? Third cousin? In-laws or their siblings or cousins?

This reminds me of my cousins in California. One looks sort of like a cross between Sarah Michelle Gellar and Eliza Dushku (why yes, I am a Buffy fan) with very distracting tits, and the other, while less endowed, has more of a "cute" thing going on, short curly hair, and is a total nerd. More importantly, she's a nerd who can communicate fairly complex concepts like black matter and the expansion of the universe in a way that a liberal arts geek like me could understand. I was hanging out with the cute/smart cousin, and her mom was teasing her playfully about how third cousins can date (not an issue likely to come up, with us living in different states).

Jewish girls. They will be the end of me. Along with blonde girls with weapons, redheads in general, and latin girls. And most of the rest too.

Incest is a taboo dealing with sex between close family members. Legally there is a definition in some states which allows for first cousins to marry and procreate without being defined as incestuous. However, I largely believe that it is the societal view that determines exactly what is taboo and what is not.

Therefore, ip so facto, e plurbus unum, etc. etc, I think you could have incest with your tenth cousin by marriage and still have it be incest if you and society viewed it that way.
