Never going to happen. Understand all the people rewriting this story are doing so because they're so insecure as men they can't handle the idea of anyone writing a RAAC story. So they have to rewrite it the way it "should" have ended.

Add hubris to insecure.

Are there any truly original ideas in anything? if I understand Joseph Campbell correctly (I probably don't) most if not all stories follow certain patterns. I guess we should look at our own stories and see if that makes sense.
