Hi Everyone!

I admit it, I'm one of those people that thinks her dogs are her kids. I have a 2 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Wyatt Earp (he is my hearing assistance dog), and he has a favor to ask you! He is entered in a photo contest...the prize is a really neat (and expensive) art print of his cute mug for his adoring owner (thats me) to hang in her grooming shop. His "sisters" won last year, and he's feeling a little left out as there are no artprints of him hanging in the shop for people to enjoy. He really wants to win; he's always being overshadowed by his much larger (and not as cute, he thinks) Great Dane sisters. People rarely pay attention to poor short stuff. So he really would love some of his own time in the spotlight...

Will you help him win? Vote here

Enter ID number 34780 at the top of the page where it asks for it, and that will bring you to Wyatt's entry. He's a little embarassed that mom chose to use his first bath photo, but he still thinks he deserves a 10 ;)

Please vote, you can only vote once per computer, and pass this along to any other dog lovers who you think will help Wyatt earn his 15 minutes of fame!

Woof Woof!! (that means Thank you very much!)

Seri and Wyatt

Thankkkk you guyssss :) We appreciate it. He's in the lead, but I have to keep on top of it and harrass people to vote as the voting doesn't end until Tues, and I learned last time that the numbers can change at any moment, so expect me to keep bumping this thread and begging *grin*

I don't ususally do silly stuff like this but the prize is great and something I could never afford for my shop, so I'm obsessed with winning. :D

In general I'm not a fan of small dogs, but what the heck......I gave him a 10'er and in return I expect you to keep him off my territory! :p

Thanks Andante :) BTW, Corgi's are not small by any means...they are huge dogs in short packages, trust me LOL. Wyatt is 31 pounds now full grown and while extremely short, he's the boss around here. Very smart too, he made full assistance dog by 8 months. Im not a small dog fan at all (the pug in the 2nd place picture that is threatening to take over is squicking me out!) but corgi's are definitely an exception to that rule.

The gap between 2nd place and Wyatt is closing a bit, so keeeep those votes coming everyone :catroar:

They got a little dog complex?

Ever seen a chihuaha at the end of a leash trying to get to a doberman? Cracks me up. The doberman just barely looks at the yapping, furious chihuaha, because he knows that he's beneath his notice.

You know, if someone were to put the link for the pug challenger up, perhaps we could visit and see if we should give him a ten. HE may not deserve a ten. Just my thought.

huh?

Everyone who enters asks people to vote for their pup, that's the nature of proud parents and photo contests.

If you don't want to vote or don't think my cutie deserves a 10, then just don't vote. I'm sure pug-mommy is asking people to vote too :)

I do appreciate everyone that has voted though, Wyatt sends doggie kisses (cept to certain people that start with an A, he just sends that person cookies)

*snicker* I said a naughty word

I edited this because I realized I may have misunderstood what you were saying and I was getting unnecessarily defensive. *shrugs*

Alright then, I should be honest, I have an issue with pugs. Half of them look like they've run into a door.
But I won't visit the site again to see the pug. I've already given your cutie a 10.

*scratches head* ok my instinct is right, I misunderstood what you were saying...I think...sorry.

I don't like pugs much either. I didn't vote for the pug guy, mostly cuz I think its kind of stupid to put pictures of babies in photo contests for dogs.

*wanders back to watching TV still scratching my head at my own confusion and mess of editing* I hate when I can't decide what I want to say. lol

I didn't mean that we should ALL sabotage the pug's votes, if that's what you mean. That would be immature and nasty.
I have only met ever met 2 pugs I liked, so looking at him I could honestly give him a low vote - probably. I haven't seen him. That's what I meant.
However, I am prejudiced, so I will heed your advice and not go at all.

Kay?

And no, you don't need to apologize. My post insinuated something it shouldn't have.

ETA: My God, I just reread and I phrased that first post really, really badly. I'll leave it up though so people'll understand why you got upset.

LOL I thought you were saying that you didn't think it was fair to ask for votes for wyatt unless people thought he really deserved it in comparison to the pug. So I was like "ok why was it necessary to say that?" and got defensivebecause I figured I asked pretty nicely , then realized you already said you voted for him so then I thought maybe I had it wrong.

I think I need sleep!

oh and btw, even if I wasn't in the contest I would vote low on the pug too, because the picture is just a little weird. Most people enter cute, close up pictures of their dogs doing cute things, right? This picture is a pug wearing a huge oversized bark collar that looks like it's weighing him down, and he's standing next to a baby pool with a baby sitting in it.

Im glad to know Im not just being totally biased! I really thought that picture was just plain strange.

Nice to see you, btw.

I'm not a big fan of any dog you need to bend over to pet :) but your Wyatt is adorable, and got my vote, for sure. Those ears are priceless! :D
