Sparky, no offense, but are you blind or kidding? It's right under your name to the left. And there is no way to do it yourself. As far as I know, the numbers are parsed via CGI and SSI, so unless you have access the cgi script itself, which you don't, there's no way to do it yourself.

In a way, I am kinda blind, because I'm so focused on my piece - not anything else on the screen - and no I'm not kidding. I have no idea what CGI of SSI stuff is. I don't know much about how these things work. Never have and won't ever care. I'm an artist not a numbers sort of guy.

Of course, if this would be too much work for Laurel I would not want her to undertake it.

No I'm not kidding - even in my professional life - in which I have found myself working in a couple of Fortune 500 companies, now for more than 15 years - I shun titles and perks of tenure. Absolute bullshit! "They" do force them on me - but I always make them pick my title - I never pick my own, I refuse. I also refuse to carry business cards because they have my title upon them. When asked about my title - what is it - I simply tell people I'm a jack-of-all-trades TV guy.

I do practice what I preach. Life should not be about numbers or titles and those who find themselves trapped with that scope - well I feel sorry for them.

PS - and one more thing.

Even though I've admittedly become somewhat of a junky here - and I assure you it is for primal therapeutic reasons only (fact is I just now noticed the number of posting under my name - I simply haven't ever looked that way - honest) and even though a couple of weeks ago I stated I'd be going away soon - back to work - and such and such. That still remains true - lots of work looms on my horizon (actually starting next week) it just didn't start happening as soon as I thought, two weeks ago. So maybe I know that and have been spewing because of that - so what. Believe me I'll slow way down - I've got a 16 hour day on Tuesday and a mega production schedule coming up - election time you know - all those news organizations competing and trying to get as much crap on the air as they can - keeps me super busy let me tell yah. Fact is this could be it for the old Sparkmeister until next summer.
