So, I'll write what I remember.
1. The world has likely survived the apocalypse, DNA testing is available (death penalty for detecting an incestuous child, should a test be carried out), but the lands are under the control of a baron/count.
2. Women are genetically altered. They experience an annual period when they experience an extremely strong desire to copulate. The live birth rate is low, and most are stillborn.
3. The father is dead, and a mother and son live together and have a dog. The mother is fat, and the son is an ugly virgin.
4. By the end, it is revealed that the mother planned to seduce her son and has an extremely strong libido, which is why the father died of exhaustion after so much sexual activity. The son, however, is ideal for his mother in this regard.
