I think most readers don't even pay attention to the voting feature. I think it says a lot that your story was viewed 1000 x's in one day, even if nobody voted.

If my story was viewed 100x's and voted on 50x's and your story was viewed 1000x's but only voted on 4x's... who's do you think is most popular??? I'd say yours was!!

I thought your story was very good! I liked the story idea and the way things 'developed' between the characters. I am not saying anymore to give away what happens between Donna, Melissa and Flasher Watkins. *grin*
Moderate readings? 1000 in a day? I think that is damn good. As to the votes? Again and again I say readers read but very rarely vote. The feedback is the important thing.

I really enjoyed that! I was picturing myself in Melissa's place; must be the exhibitionist in me. The action flowed nicely and the humor really added to the read.

"I pulled young Flash out and covered both pouting pussies with the old Watkins developing fluid"

Good line, almost made me spit coffee on the monitor! All in all, I for one thought it was well worth voting on.

Your story did what all good stories do.....made me want more. It made me go looking for more Flasher stories...so there!
I liked the differentiation between the two females. My only criticism would be the predictability of the events.....but hey......anticipation ain't bad.

Congratulations, English Passion-- your Flasher story is at the top of the humor & satire toplist! It's rating is high enough where it should be near the top of the toplist for the whole site, too-- they just haven't added it yet (or hadn't last time I checked, at least). Of course, just because a story is popular doesn't necessarily mean it's any good-- but in your case, your success is well deserved.

Now I hope you don't find out the hard way what some other fine writers have discovered-- that the top of a toplist can be a dangerous place to be!

Thank you everyone who has said such nice things about Flasher Watkins. I really appreciate all the positive comments and am having fun putting the finishing touches to chapter two.

It was great to be at the top of the list - albeit briefly!

When I went to bed last night, Flasher had 10 votes and an average score of 4.67.

This morning he has 12 votes and a score of 4.08.

My math may be a bit rusty, but that looks a lot like the dreaded barbed 1 voters have struck to put me in my place!

Of course I know that scores and votes shouldn't really matter that much, but I'm here to tell you that they matter more than I thought.

Hey, I have yet to figure out the mind of the average Literotica reader. My last story, submitted a little over a month ago, has had just over 100 hits, and 12 votes. The previous one, submitted just over 2 months ago, has over 21,000 hits, and 20 votes.

Go figure!

I have the same problem

I read your story. I liked the video camera at the ending, that was cute.

I have the same problem with the two stories I have written also. One has almost 300 hits and only seven votes and the other had about 2000 hits and 18 votes. Go figure.

I have had one person give me feedback on "Layover", I guess a few will and more won't.

C'est La vie, c'est dommage!
