Plea for an editor

Hi. I'm looking for an editor for my first story.

It's a sort of Loving Wives story, 165kb, 37 pages, 20,000 words, Word Doc. It tells of a man who thinks he sees his wife somewhere she shouldn't be.

I have run MS Word spellcheck and grammar. There are, however, a number of Irish and military colloquiallisms.

As this is my first I'm not quite sure what I need but am looking for a critique as well as general editing. I know it's approaching the length of War and Peace and realise it may require pruning.

I have two or three other stories in preparation.

The nice lady who is helping me has recommended I use more than one editor.

So I'm putting out another call for some help. If you're not sure if my style appeals to you I have got one chapter of a different story posted on the board. It's called Jack and Diane Ch. 01.
