Some of my favorite poets, ee cummings especially, loved to just toy with the sounds of words, their interplay, nonsense coinages, and brief images that appear, burn bright, and depart. In that vein, I'm going to post one I just wrote that explores in that way, and I encourage anyone else to post going forward. I welcome feedback; if you think you've arrived, you're usually still on the highway. :) I love it when words are free to dance and gambol without being asked for more. Share and enjoy!

Assity

Work me Assity, baby
in word, thought, and deed
We'll share and have all we need
and at that Assity banquet we will feed
Talk me, walk me Assity

I love your tenebrous elasticity, your loquacity
your clear opacity
I love it when you talk and stalk me Assity

Put it up in my face fantasically
the way that makes me treat you drastically
I love it all, that's no mendacity
God I love to work that Assity

Lip off to me Sassity
Shake that Assity
And I'll beat it well

In my sagacity

Nonsense in S sharp

Abby's in teepee, down by the seashore
Alcatraz fun, wanna do, wanna be more
Singular sing, on calling to see, or:
Eagles spin castles, if you know
what to look for.

Commendatore;

Just a pass through, enjoyed the poem tremendously.

*Blushed Grin* After the blonde moment... Assity/Sassity = Sassetta = Italian painter= "il Sassetta" aka Stefano di Giovanni. They sound the same in my head right now, traveling and If you have ever seen his work... LoL... Yes, very Blonde... Two reads and fully enjoyed both versions.

Ciao, Obsequium

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad." "How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."
