Playing with a name and a story

I started playing with a name I came up with for an SRP, over on another thread and want to use it as the main heroine's name... so Falls Britain (Britton) (Britten) could be gracing the pages of a Lit story soon.


The Isle of Wight would be the focus...

Soooooo.... I have this little thread, to discuss Falls and possibly other folks would like to drop names and if they don't have a story idea for their name, perhaps they can come here, or you have an idea, but no name?

Slighty OT Here, I noticed your profile mentioned the Darkness. Funny that, as the rock band called the Darkness, hail from the same town as me!! And just to make it freaky - So did Benjamin Britten!!

That is freaky. Yes, The_Darkness and I write the Cherry Hill series. Though since he became a Dad, he doesn't get to write much. So we haven't written a new story. Our title is Dark_and_Red.

Benjamin Britten - the composer... I wrote a poem about sex on a Steinway piano.

Hmm.. I do like the peasant girl. I do have an idea forming, the girl gets suck back and she's kinda like a peasant girl. All dressed up from a Rein Fair (Is that how that is spelled?) My Fair expert isn't online right now. LOL.

Please think and think and think, that is what the thread is for.

Did you mean this Mort d'Arthur --- I looked that up. I'll admit my ignorance and ask if you are meaning King Arthur ?

Once she is sucked back she finds herself in a dirt floor cabin...

no electricity

no running water

she goes out and gathers wood for a fire

goes down to the river with 2 pails for some water

the knight comes along and sees her

follows her back to her cabin

Carney is a nice sounding name for a Knight. Sir Carney (hmmm though I'm reading it as Car - neigh (others may read it as Carnee... Like the folks at a fair)

It kinda sounds french as Car - neigh... but how would one write it to put the main sound on the "ney", or am I being anal?

That would tie in with the ideal I'm playing with. She's been taken to this fair, by her friends and met this woman... meeting a descendent of this woman would be a natural thing.

That would be an adventure without the night. LOL... but that would be a short story.... I rarely write those.
